Why Should I Pay for Playoffs and Next Year?
As a season ticket holder, tomorrow is the deadline to commit and begin to pay for the playoffs and next year. Someone please explain to me why I should ante up for this? How is this team going anywhere?
This year is clearly over. As for next year, Rondo's potential for improvement will be offset by the decline of the older players. Perkins seems like he will never understand that he needs to stop complaining like a little baby the whole game. There are no other promising young players on this team.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I am a season ticket holder and I renewed the first day I could for next season. I have been a season ticket holder during this teams worst years and its best. If you are only interested in being a season ticket holder when the team is good, may I suggest you shouldn’t be a season ticket holder at all. You should just buy a few games a year when you think the team is worth seeing. I, for one, love going to games whether the team is good or bad. What I pay for is EFFORT, and that’s why I have been disappointed in this season— not the declining talents of an aging team, but the (at times) utter lack of desire to compete.
I agree with drkalloch….i cant afford season tickets yet as im a college student but ive followed the team all of my young life and go to as many as I can go to, whether the team is good or bad….buy season tickets for the team because you love them not just because they are good….that tells me you are in it for the resale value

I'm also not a season ticket holder
And I almost didn’t get to go to a game I WON FREE TICKETS for because no one at first wanted to take me. Then the day of the game, Mom basically said to get directions, and I don’t think I ever searched and printed out directions before. They lost (played the Mavs on TNT on a Monday night), but at least I got to go. I had a great time, and if I could, I’d gladly take the seats you’d be giving up by not buying playoff tickets or next year.
I understand you probably have more problems with the Celtics’ hustle than they’re actually capability to win a title (or the fact they’re not playing up to said capability). If that’s the case, you do have a legit beef. I’ll leave it at that.
I have a 7 grand bill starting at me in the face
Not sure what I am going to do. The price goes up a lot for me next year. And, I have been disgusted this year with all of the talk of being bored, games being meaningless, the team coming out flat and quitting in so many games, that I am on the fence in terms of renewing.
the only game i seriously follow is the Celtics and i have followed them to their grave.
