Secret Weapon; Scalabrine

We have been saving Brian Scalabrine for too long now we have no choice but to activate him before we lose another game. We cannot afford to rest him for the finals he needs to be in there ASAP. Sheed definitely looks tired, so tired that he should retire, Sheldon Williams is good but not a wide body like Scals. Our Achilles heal has been exposed and that is Sheed Wallace, i have no idea why this guy is on the Celtics or what purpose he would serve on any team except for the Washington Generals. I am not asking big minutes from Scal just that he comes in and regulates the defense and grabs some boards maybe knocks down a couple threes.

Great vid & song ROFL

Why isn’t he playing…is he still hurt??? Absolutely Doc has to go to Scal eventually-really the entire bench..use them as bait at least…Unfortunately he still has a grain of faith in Rasheed…Will see what happens tomorrow won’t we…

We are in dire shape if we have come to depend on Veal to save us from impending disaster. Looks like that old TV opera: “How the World Turns” or something like that. Its not Sheed – Its the refs that are costing us games.

I want Sheed GONE! the only veterans we need are the big 3 that is it.

Ray will sign for a honey of a deal over the summer. Then KG looks like he is making a recovery. We gotta get rid of Sheed i don’t care what we get or if its a second round pick. We need to start phasing sheed out right now, Scals is waiting to prove he still has some fight in him so lets put him to work. Scal is still on the team right? does he have a jersey? if he doesn’t then we should at least have one ordered for him so he can get in there and do some damage. Why is Sheed eating up minutes when Perk is available? Perk or baby are ready to go and we are wasting all of our hopes on Sheed who has no chemistry at all and plays selfishly (because he has no business passing the ball due to turnovers).

Scalabrine = Sound Defense, Sound Attitude, Clutch Shooting

Scalabrine is an ace long distance shooter and he can rebound. He makes things happen. Last year when I inquired on the board about shooters from 15’-20’ out and further, a poster said that Sheed would fulfill. Not happening. Get Brian in there, let him establish some game rhythm. Let’s get through this series.

SW

I think that the initials for Secret Weapon has already been filled by SW. Shelden Williams. Put the man in, Doc.

Scalabrine not Available for the playoffs

Many fans are unaware that the playoffs are like a second season. It has its own rules and procedures. My understanding is that one such rule is that a 12 person roster must be turned in prior to the first game of the playoffs. Boston did not place Scalabrine on their roster. Therefore he is unavailable for the any game in the entire playoffs.

Here is your official roster.

P. Pierce
K. Garnett
K. Perkins
R. Allen
R. Rondo
G. Davis
R. Wallace
T. Allen
M. Finley
M. Daniels
N. Robinson
S. Williams

It will be interesting to see what adjustments are made by each team for the second game tonight.

I don't believe this is correct.

As far as I understand it, teams can have all 15 players on their playoff roster, with 12 active players each game.

Thanks

I looked up old information ( pre 2006) Looks like your correct but I can not find where they changed the rule to all 15 players. If you have a site I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Sheed's still here because he's like a drunk teenager - you never know when he's gonna explode

During this season, I’ve been checking stats for each game and I’ve never seen Scalabrine get any valuable points. A couple of them in 10+ point wins or horrid shooting (e.g. 0/5 in 2 minutes). Now who do you want to push more of the two guys that lost their touch for shooting, an old half-court-buzzer-beating-two-balls-flying-in-at-same-time legend, or a ginger slowing down the pace even more than Sheed?

oh i guess sheed flipped the switch?

I hope this is right, Scal should be out there but sheed earned his 6 millions last night. I dont really get what sheldon’s purpose is but there has to be some answer to this madness. Sheed has been crap and so has Scal, maybe we trade them to the raptors for chris Bosh and some italian players? IDK
