Never Tell Me The Odds
Celtics would like two-fisted effort tonight against Cavaliers - The Boston Globe
The odds don’t favor the Celtics. The home team that wins Game 1 of a seven-game series goes on to win the series 86.5 percent of the time. Boston is 2-6 all time in series in which it has lost the opening game on the road. Cleveland is 10-0 in series when it takes Game 1.

Since you just did...
I will be contrarian.
Hopefully the Celtics will be odd (def. of odd: differing from the usual, expected, or normal behavior) and will suffer from O.D.D. (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) and make the “odds” of Las Vegas or of others useless and worthless. Rebel against the odds, Celtics. Attack at both ends of the court. Leave it on the court. Fight until the end.
Yeah, but ...
What are the odds after a 1-1 start on the road?
"Odd"ly, i feel compelled to point out
that in each of the last couple of losses to CLE, Lebron was on the bench when we gave up the game – in each case letting Mo Williams actually look good for a change.
It’s almost like we know how to defend them when Lebron is on the floor, but when he takes a breather we go: “Uh? What? Multiple options? Wait – how do we defend a team without a single go-to guy????!”
lol…i agree actually,
I was looking at the +/- stats, with lebron on the bench in the first half, the celtics were i think +11
I’m not worred too much about Mo, cuz sumtines he’s on fire, sumtimes ice-cold
