Everyone's favorite appendage joint is going back for more tests.  Because, you know, there's no way that his highness is actually just having a few bad games or anything like that. (via ESPN)

After the team's film session broke up, James, who will have a third MRI in less than 10 days on his injured elbow later this week, was not seen when the Cleveland Clinic Courts were opened to the media. The team said James was at the facility receiving treatment on his elbow, but there was no visual proof.

In related news...

Forward Anderson Varejao, who sat out the fourth quarter with back spasms, is day-to-day. The Cavs said an MRI and X-rays showed no structural damage.

In sarcastically related news, Kevin Garnett will not be having any more tests on his knee, Paul Pierce will not be having any tests done on his elbow, and Big Baby played Madden for 4 hours yesterday but his previously broken thumb will be just fine.

Note: Even Cavs blogger John Krolik is sick of Elbowgate, ...or whatever you want to call it.  And John Bena of Fear the Sword is rightfully putting much of the blame on LeBron's teammates for not stepping up.

Update: Of course there's the inevitable random website making claims that the injury is "way worse than generally known."  We'll see.
