The NBA Finals: Where Manhood Happens

I'm looking forward to these NBA Finals like no other professional sporting event in my life.  This is the big one.  Greater than any superbowl, greater than any NCAA tourney, greater than any other NBA Finals.....

The are so many reasons to get excited about these Finals.

The history.  The rivalry.  The hatred.

All of elements make this series era defining.

What makes this more exciting, to many of us, is how personal it has become.  This is more than just a title...more than just become a champion...more than just about hatred....this is about manhood.

Can the Lakers take back the manhood the Celtics took from them in '08?

Will Boston cast a larger shadow on LA?

Who is going to man up and take the title?

There will be no moral victories.  All the chips are in and much more is at stake than a ring.

It is time to separate the men from the boys.
