Crawford isn't that bad...

He’s one of those refs that won’t get effected by the crowd so he’s pretty fair.

We’ll see how this goes.

I just hope that the ticky-tack fouls do not get called during this game, especially a GAME 7 Finals.

Might actually work in our favor

I think they’ll go out of their way to avoid the ticky-tack fouls.

Which might help Sheed, who loves to commit ticky-tack fouls by swiping at the ball.

hahaha

when sheed swipes at the ball that’s the exact OPPOSITE of “ticky-tack”

I can deal with that.

Let’s do it. Seriously. Let’s do it.

No Salvatore either

C’s fans should be satisfied – and let’s hope they “let ’em play” again, like in Game 6

Too bad Broderick Crawford or Steve Crawford are not available to be the third ref

You young ‘uns probably won’t know who either of these guys are, so for you, Carl Crawford would have made a nice third guy. Definitely has the speed to get up and down the court.

Paxton would be excellent

Wasn’t he the Sox pitcher who fell out of bed in a hotel on a road trip and cut his hand on a glass or something?

O let's do it

Sheed will play big tonight

Joey is fair..

he’s the Alpha Ref of these 3.
Celtics have actually built a good rapport with him.
I like it…

Is that some kind of a joke? Joey Crawford is short-tempered and vindictive, and all you can hope for is not to be on his bad side — in this way it can work out pretty well for you.

But yes, compared to Salvatore or Kennedy, he’s probably an upgrade.

At least it isn’t Kennedy, Salvatore, or Bavetta.

Crawford IS that bad

Crawford gets his ego involved in every game. With all of the stats for these three guys, the one I’d like to see is how fast Crawford T’s up Wallace after a call is made. He has to have the quickest whistle in the league just where Wallace is concerned. He also makes “anticipation” calls – he blows the whistle way before any contact thinking that there has to be a foul coming. Even if there’s no foul he makes it one. But as others have written, he’s better than Savaltore who is the worst ever. How he’s stayed in the league is amazing given his total incompetence and terrible attitude.

Joey Crawford

the book is to not piss him off early… we’re starting Sheed?

I kind of wonder if we go Baby in the starting lineup… let him bang with Bynum and give up the length – better running the floor early and get the O clicking. Also – Baby on Gasol is a disaster – if you start Wallace and KG gets in foul trouble, you have no alternative.

we need sheed's height and heft...

to bother and soften gasol so he should start…

Even though Perk isn't playing I bet he still gets called for 2 moving screens.

This game took a number of days off my life, but I didn't have anything scheduled.

That's funny. Really, how many times can someone

be perfectly still and be called for a moving screen? I guess we could just ask Perk.
