Predictions for next year: Eastern Conference

Eastern Conference: With the departures of Lebron James and Joe Johnson, this conference will be dominated by Boston and Orlando. Though, lots of teams are rising, this conference is still no match for the West.

1. Boston Celtics. 66-16. Of course, the favorites because they won the conference, but they WILL BE IN THE FINALS.

2. Orlando Magic. 60-22. Who else could be on our tails? The Magic of course. We will have to share this conference with only one team unlike the conference owned by 4 teams over the last few years.

3. Milwaukee Bucks. 54-28. They took Atlanta to 7 games without Redd and Bogut, what more could they do if those 2 return?

4. Toronto Raptors. 50-32. Hedo Turkoglu was a bit of a dissapointment last year, but even if Bosh leaves, the development of Andrea Bargnani along with Jose Calderon and Turkoglu should keep them right there. They did came within a Bobcats win of making the Playoffs.

5. Charlotte Bobcats. 50-32. Larry Brown is a heck of a coach, turning a laughing stock to a playoff contender.

6. Chicago Bulls. 47-35. If they get Lebron, they will be a threat, if not, then just the same old "falling short" team.

7. New Jersey Nets. 44-38. Dont be surprised, please.

8. Washington Wizards. 43-39. John Wall + Agent 0 equals playoffs.

9. Cleveland Cavaliers. 41-41. Sorry fellas, it's all over. But this is still not the kind of team that would lose 12 in a row.

10. Atlanta Hawks. 38-44. The fish has escaped from the hawk. It's all over. Atlanta should stick with milking cows.

11. Detroit Pistons. Dynasty and 6 straight Conf. Finals ended in 2009 last time I checked.

12. Miami Heat.

13. Philadelphia 76ers.

14. Indiana Pacers.

15. New York Knicks.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Trust me, you're not the favorites.

It’s going to be Orlando, followed by the gay ass Cavs (IF LeBrat stays)
Then Boston.
You guys may or may not even have Perkins next year, or a good portion of it.

Chris Andersen could be in a porno with his 'stache. Too bad he still wouldn't know how to box out.

cant see the celtics as the top seed. they dont care about the regular season (as shown this past year) they will be older. and maybe with out sheed, ray. cant see them 1st. i think orlando will be the top seed. followed by cleveland (if lebron stays). then miami. then boston stays in the 4 seed

Not sure how predictions can be done before the draft even happens.

Also the biggest free agency market ever is obviously happening this summer as well.

With all due respect I think its pointless trying to predict what will happen next year.

Its anyone’s guess what this team, and many others, will end up looking like. Even the coaching staff and general manager are question marks.

Prediction....

What are you? Twelve? Did we sign DWade and Lebron? Making a prediciton without a draft, free agent or trade taking place is nuts…..

CELTICS and next year

For the Celts to go deep into the playoffs this year we will need to make 1-2 key pickups in the off season… Marque player and starter type pickups… The accomplishment this year was impressive but will not be repeated without significant change… Changes to the bench will not help…
So ship out Ray Allen, Perk, and Wallace… Get me Stoudamire and JJ Redick… and how about a long shot but lets try to bring back Chauncy Billups… (Why did we ever let him go?)
