Ok, so I read a lot of mixed emotions here regarding the possibilty of getting Shaq. Most of the comments I've read are people cringing at the idea. I personally think it's a great idea, especially after learning we will be without Perk for most of the season. Say what you will about Shaq being done, but the fact is he played very well last year for Cav's putting up very good numbers for the amount of minutes he played ( 22.1 minutes, 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks)
If LeBron bails, (which seems likely) you gotta figure that Shaq will be looking to play for a team where one last ring is his main goal. (He absolutely doesn't need the money) Add to the equation the immature comments from Kobe that "now he has more rings then Shaq", you also have to figure that there is nothing Shaq wants more then to beat Kobe in the finals. I think it's a real possibility that Shaq would sign for the veteran minimum in order to win another championship, and with the Celtics current salary limitations, who better to be wearing Celtic green next year then Shaq? Thoughts?
