Between the Bird, Johnson, Pippen, Durant and Mailman pieces this might be the best group of daily links in a while. Class all around.

Who Presented DJ?
Anyone know who presented DJ to the HOF? Was it Larry? Anyone have a link to a picture of that part of ceremony. Thanks.

Hall of Famer DJ
What a player. I remember watching him play in the finals with Seattle—it was clear that he was something special. His defense was absolutely relentless, and he made big shot after big shot. He could always get his shot off, and you can’t coach that, the greats all have that. He dominated that series on both ends, never coasting, yet he played unselfishly. DJ played absolutely unafraid, he was young but fearless. All of this continued throughout his career. He was a true star but in Boston he played the role of the steady veteran, played less flashy, but his defense was always there, night in and night out. DJ had his teammates’ backs. He was a very big guy, one of the first of the true big guards. He played as if he was obsessed with winning, as if the final score, not personal stats, was all that mattered to him. I am sure that was the case, and that was his true greatness.
