Danny Ainges next addition

While ive wrote before that id try to get Wilson Chandler - see below. I think maybe the guy DA is waiting on is the newly traded James Posey. He does answer alot of what we need for next year (not for da distant future). He cant be traded for until later on in the year unless theres a buy out

Now Rudy has been named as well as has L. Hughes but in my opinon the player we should be chasing is Wilson Chandler. Hed be an unreal addition to us next season and the future. Can give multiple floor options, his length, an already good defensive player, serious athletism. Please somehow make it so Danny. Its a doable trade also if we are offering a trade for Rudy and supposedly Knicks offered Chandler for Rudy too. A3 way deal and we win it all next year"

Well the last two years we received 2 different knicks guards in..

Marbury and Nate Rob.. Maybe we’ll do it again this year and get Wilson Chandler?

Portland needs something more than draft picks...

or they would’ve traded Rudy to us long ago. Celtics needs to add more than a 1st pick to make the deal possible (3 way) and we only have Erden, Bradley, Luke and two non-guaranteed in Gaffney and Lafayette.

Chandler could be a great addition, but it all comes down to Portland. If they’ll be cool to accept just a 1st pick then this deal could be done. Thing is though, they’re not so Chandler will be highly doubtful.

I reallt think the best way for the C’s would be invite unsigned FA’s in camp, with Gaffney and Lafayette, work them out and see who gets the last spot. And do the adjustments before the trade deadline if something does not work out.

What about Kelenna Azubuike?

He also plays for the knicks and i think is more of a realistic trade. He is a GREAT defender and is good on offense avg 13 points a game i would love this guy coming off the bench for the Celtics

Yes to Chandler or Posey, No to Rudy!

It boggles my mind that people think Rudy Fernandez is the best thing since sliced bread. If he was really that good Portland would have used him more and wouldn’t be as disgruntled. He doesn’t want to be a bench warmer with less than 30 minutes a game. He’s not going to get that playing in Boston. The only 2 guys that we should be looking into getting if we can and would be only through a trade are Posey and W. Chandler.
They are both 6-8 and can backup Pierce. Without TA we need someone off the bench to defend the likes of Lebron, Melo, and Kobe. I don’t expect Quis to play a whole season as he never been able to do so and live up to expectations, which means we don’t have a true backup at the 3 unless Doc is going to give Harongody some burn because I don’t think Wafer will play any 3 this year.
