Rasheed Wallace hasn't officially retired yet, and Shaquille O'Neal wants it to stay that way.
"I know Rasheed is thinking about coming back," said O'Neal, who was in attendance at a charity basketball game in Orlando, Fla. "Rasheed, go on and come back for one or two more years."
I'm certainly not opposed to Rasheed making an encore appearance for the Celtics next season. However, one has to wonder how the minutes would be divided up between Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal, Glen Davis, Shaq, Wallace, and Kendrick Perkins, upon his return. That's a pretty substantial frontline, and quality depth certainly wouldn't be a problem, but could it actually work? This is one of those scenarios where I'm glad it's Danny Ainge calling the shots and not me.
