LeBron and Wade didn't happen. Here's what did happen according to Posting & Toasting.

Amar'e Stoudemire was signed to a maximum contract. David Lee was signed and traded for Randolph, Azubuike, and Turiaf. Raymond Felton, Roger Mason, and Timofey Mozgov were acquired. Memories of Chris Duhon and Al Harrington were erased via Neuralyzer. The possibility of Isiah Thomas returning moved us all to the brink of insanity.

My predicted record for them is

44-38
They will be fantastic at home but are likely to struggle on the road.
Much like the 07 Raptors, only a lower seed.

i like this knicks team

this will be a scary team. we all know they could run the ball and score but had a less than stellar cast, now they’ve upgraded big time.

amare can score, get inside and draw fouls, adds height and can blok shots

anthony randolph has the skills and ability to play SF/PF/C and is a rebounder, shot blocker

felton is a huge upgrade over duhon and the offense should flow better with him at the helm.

azubuike is a very talented scorer who can also draw alot of fouls although needs to work on passing the ball more.

ronny turiaf brings toughness, defense, shot blocking and rebounding

wilson chandler, tony douglas, roger mason jr, landry fields all hit teh bench and all are capable of playing decent defense and scoring.

then there is timofey mozgov, a tough, physical real center from russia. 7’1, likes to bang, play defense and is great on the pick and roll.

thats right this years knicks team seems to be built around athletic guys who play on BOTH ends. this should be a very fun team to watch and i see them as a playoff team this year
