hahahaha VtCeltics
Perhaps I have misjudged …..and maybe not….if he really is a gem then great
Is it Soup Yet?
Hard to judge from one game.
But the guys got talent. That was kinda my point when we debated him in the other thread. He’s got the skills, he’s just got to put it all together to be able to contribute on a nightly basis.
There’s really not much we’re going to gain until we see him in NBA action, sometime which could be years down the road. But I think two years to develop in the Celtics system will help him immensely. He’s got the talent to be a solid back up to Perk down the road (and a much better offensive option.)
Let's not forget it was against China...
He looks strong and has been able to finish around the hoop all tournament but lm not sure he’s NBA ready yet.

China’s only had 1 good basketball player ever and he’s at home getting his ankle ready for the season. That Chinese team Erden played today wouldn’t even beat our U17 team.

D-League
We will see how he does in the D-League. I don’t expect him to dress for any games unless we are wrecked with injuries.
Agreed.
But with Perk out, it will be interesting who they dress in that 12th spot. Doc really seems to like Bradley, and they want him to have time to see the NBA game, and learn the PG position from Rondo, so I really think they want him out there and not in Maine. But, at the same time, there’s other options for PG depth, if there was foul trouble/injury to Rondo or Nate, West can swing over and play point, or Marquis can too in a pinch. The same can’t be said at Center if JO or Shaq get into trouble. There’s really noone behind them with Perk out.
It will be interesting to see how that handle it.
Shaq will not play back to backs
Erden will see some burn or we will play small
