Fun and Games
In case you missed it, there are some pretty big characters on this team. Oddly enough, the biggest character might be the smallest player - Nate Robinson. Here is Nate...
- Dunking on Shaq in practice
- Organizing a Shaq and Perk dance off (Perk DOES smile after all)
- Running in Shaq's shoes
- Trying to guard Delonte West
KG sums it up pretty well:
Needless to say, it’s a (bleeping) zoo around here.
Here are some more quotes: (via WEEI)
"A lot of personality in our practices, I can say that," Doc Rivers said Thursday.
"Really, really loose and fun," said Ray Allen. "But we know when that has to end."
"Chemistry has been very good, needless to say," said Garnett, who later added. "It's a loose environment around here. That's until we hit the floor and all hell breaks loose."

Seems like the video of the dance off between Shaq and Perk was deleted
Too bad, I would’ve liked to see it lol
Also worth noting...
Doc’s praised Robinson’s balance between work and play so far. Stressing that Robinson knows when to get serious (during actual practice on the court, for example), and when to goof off (during water breaks).
All I no is Nate Robinson can not guard Delonte West lol
Did Pierce really write that? “All I no…”??? Is that just twitter shorthand, or is PP really that challenged when it comes to spelling?
i doubt it
ive seen him write pretty long messages with typos all over the place lol
All that I'm saying is that it is common in twitter messages
to type “no” instead of “know”.
I didn’t mean to even try to comment on Paul’s literacy level or not.
I have seen lots of postings on this blog that wouldn’t stand up to much lexical review so folks should be careful about calling out the kettle!
LOL @ "lexical review"
I had to look it up.
Reading this blog has increased my regular IQ as well as my BBIQ!!!
Knick fan here.
Its funny how the second Nate left NY and came to you guys he began to receive praise from everyone for his loud personality but when he was in NY he was immature and reckless. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not being a whiner or anything, I’m glad to see that he isn’t taking beatings anymore because of his personality. He’s a great person and player and you guys are just on the tip of the iceberg with his antics, he’ll entertain you more and more as the season goes on. Kudos for holding on to him and extending him as well.

Making the vidoe even funnier is that Lil Nate still wearing the big mans shoes. Look at those things on him – they are as long as his forearms!
