I just finished reading through the East Coast All-Star starters, and I cannot express my profound disappointment that not a single Boston player was present. I will not dispute how great basketball players all five of the starters are, but the Celtics have that energy and heart that I feel many of the starters lack.
In my opinion, Rondo is dishing out more dimes and runs the floor in a way Derrick Rose cannot, Ray Allen is having the BEST shooting performance of his career at 35, Paul Pierce has grown as a ballplayer, Shaquille O'Neal is having some superb nights (but I will not try to imply that he should start), and Kevin Garnett is still the hardest worker in the league.
I wish one of these men was starting, but i realize Banner #18 is far more important than an All-Star game.
Starters for the East:
Dwayne Wade, Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Lebron James.
What does everyone else think of the lineup?
