Heard Billups DOES NOT want to go to NJ though, and would do anything to get out of that. Also, Carmelo would need to sign an extension in order for the Nets to agree to it, but it would be interesting to see how this pans out.
Not knowing a whole about the situation, if this deal goes through, it seems to me it makes the Nets a Miami mini-me—great of some positions, but also some big weaknesses.
