Boston "Open" To Trading Rondo

Some rumors you like to hear, and some you'd rather not.  Put me down for the latter on this one.

While Boston is not shopping Rajon Rondo, it would be open to trading him in the right deal, sources say. The Celtics feel they need more scoring to take the load off Paul Pierce.

I get that with limited options the Celtics have to be willing to do anything.  But I've grown rather fond of Rajon and I'd like to see him stay with the club for many years.  So for me the list of players I'd be willing to deal him for is pretty short - and pretty much just includes Chris Paul and Dwight Howard.  But that's just me.

Update: John Hollinger gives his take on the Chris Paul rumors via twitter

Seems to me most likely CP endgame is trade to Lakers, Clippers or Celtics. Worth asking: Would he do Golden St? For those asking, Cs would have to be for Rondo. Lakers would have to be for Bynum. Clippers? Likely Gordon.
