If DWest Gets Signed DA Gets A 10

If David West gets signed this could well be the best supporting cast that the C's have had since KG and Ray Allen went on board. We're talking about 3 guys in West, Green and Bass who can score and are regular starters in their previous teams.

I'd like to see Doc Rivers experimenting on the first five. I remember reading here that DA and Doc plans to make Pierce go off the bench to lessen the pressure off him and give him additional fuel down the stretch for his offense. Perhaps in some games Bass or West could start in place of KG or Green in place of Pierce.

The question now is who will they release in exchange of West? If JO gets released they could go aggressive on recruiting Kwame Brown who remains unsigned (although he's leaning on going back to Charlotte). If they give away Green on the other hand DWest can perhaps relieve Pierce and JaJuan and Bass can complete the frontline of the 2nd unit.

With all the movements going on no intensive write ups have been made as well on the potential of the rookie Johnson. But I have high hopes for this kid and I am hoping that he will be given a lot of chance to prove himself this season.

turiaf is moving to the wizards

and mbenga is not really going to help us, he has played sparingly in the past three years.
we need a young center, ajinca, gray, brown, etc.

a 10? thats to be determined

if west costs us green/jo, jj and moore i dont want it to happen. if its green we are without a reliable, healthy SF. if jo we are without a true center and kg likely plays alot of center (doc says he will). the killer for me is jj who IMO is likely already better then west at defense and rebounding and IMO will be a better player than west.

if the deal is for JO, bradley im fine with it, even if it cost moore too. as long as jj isnt involved. if he is back away danny!

so while id give danny a 10 if the later deal goes through, if it involves jj i got to give him a 6.5…
