Plan C - Anderson Varejao
Plan C - The Celtics send their first round pick for 2012 and the cavaliers 2nd round pick for 2014 that we got last year back to the Cavaliers, and they send Anderson Varejao and some cash to Boston.
Cleveland is aware that they don't have much hope for the playoffs so I am guessing they follow Oklahoma City's foot steps and stock up on Draft picks the next two years. So this would be a good pick up for Celtics and also the Cavs especially the talent that is expected in next years draft.
The Celtics need a Big man who can provide Defense, energy, and effort. This 6'11 PF/C can provide those things and more. He is a fan favorite and can be very productive on a good team. I think Jermaine would get the start but Varejao plays better off the bench anyway. He was a contender of six man of the year a few years ago just by his energy and defense alone. He gives the Celtics height, a little depth in the PF position, and a little youth at the age of 29.
Just imagine Rondo with Jeff Green, Brandon Bass, and Varejao. And Dwight Howard playing side by side or backed up by Anderson Varejao the teams like Lakers and Miami wouldn't get a break.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Bit of a Pipe dream, but ya, he'd be a great fit here.
Problem is he makes 7.7mil, and is signed for 4years.
Danny is very protective with his cap space, and I doubt he’s going to want to commit to that money over the next 4 years, on top of it you have to make the salaries match.
You have only 6 tradeable contracts right now, the Big 4, JO, and Bradley.
So you’d have to ship JO + Bradley + Picks to Cleveland, and you’d be eating up future cap space on Varejao.
I like Varejao, he’s a good player, but I don’t think he’s worth that much.
"Phil is obviously a good coach. You don't win that many games without being a damn good coach, ... Remember one thing: He's been very fortunate. He picks his spots. That's all I can say." - Red Auerbach
Varejao is worth significantly more than those picks
the Cav that you might actually have a shot at is Antawn Jameson
I'd rather get Kaman..
big, agile, can score, defends good enough and his contract is expiring this season.. perfect fit!
pick someone else
if center or power forward he can be traded for JO+Bradley.
if pointguard he can be traded for Rondo or Bradley+Rondo.
Honestly, i think the current roster is final or few addition who will accept Vet Min.
Looking back signing Green for 9M was premature but it cannot be undone now.
