Help Wanted: True Centers

Who is left?

I see the FA big men looking at The Celtics like this.

Negatives:

Other centers are waiting for bigger paychecks (Especially after Kwame's big payday)

Based on where other players are going they dont see Boston as a prime destination.

Positives:

A true center can get big minutes here and cash in in the offseason.

Free Agents Left:

Alexis Ajinca: He's never done much but he has size and I can see him signing for a minimum.

Hilton Armstrong: Had betters days starting a lot of games in NO but even then his production was thin.

Samuel Dalembert: He would be great but we simply can't afford him.

Erick Dampier: Don't like his attitude and he has too many miles on him to be useful more than 5 minutes.

Kyrylo Fesenko: I like this option. Has good size and when he gets the minutes he cant perform well.

Dan Gadzuric: Another one of those guys where if you play him more than 15 minutes he can get some good numbers

Hamed Haddadi: Still young, when he plays near 20 minutes he usually can grab around 10 boards.

Ryan Hollins: I'm assuming he is waiting for more money than the min or he would have been signed by now.

DJ Mbenga: Not mobile enough

Hamady N'Diaye: Even when given minutes he doesn't perform. Too raw.

Joel Przybilla: Great option if he doesn't retire. Would be just what the team needs.

Theo Ratliff: Can still block some shots, not sure if he done or not.

That's pretty much the list, it's pretty thin but some decent guys are hidden in their. We also have some trade options but I still think we should keep our core and try to pickup one of these guys.

After this, which I think is the priority we should look for a mobile SF to guard the LeBrons and such.

MAybe that will be my next post.
