Rondo's Revenge

Injured foot, Best friend traded, dislocated elbow, lockout, trade rumors, attitude issues... If there's one Celtics player who can't wait for 2011 to end, it's gotta be Rajon Rondo!

After all that's happened this year, all the frustrations and the negativity, there's just one word that must be running through Rajon Rondo's mind coming into the new season and the new year: Vindication! It's really hard to carry all the burden and responsibility of running a team on the brink of breaking up, with the future and even the present season still unclear . It's even harder to live up to expectations when the pundits keep saying you're good but still not good enough to lead this team to a championship, let alone carry the torch after the big three fades next year. I've been one of those critics who thinks we would've been better off with a certain CP3 running the team, but there's one thing I know and will continue to believe: as long as he's a Celtic, I will root for Rajon, because as long as he's wearing green, this is his team! Banner 18 and beyond all hinges on the thin shoulders of a young warrior, a grizzled veteran, no jumpshot and all.. So as a Celtic fan, there's one thing I'm looking forward to this coming season, and all the other teams better be warned about... Rondo's Revenge!

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
