David Thorpe, Scouts Inc comment on Pierce

Recently read Thorpes comments on Pierce and couldn't disagree more with this guy:

David Thorpe, Scouts Inc.: Bold prediction: Paul Pierce will suffer the worst season of his career, unless he gets traded to a contender. Seems strange seeing that Boston looks like a contender on paper, I know. But I don't think the Celtics are legit, and Pierce's motivation will suffer. A Pierce that is not properly motivated is not a pretty sight.

Has this guy not watched any of Pierce's career. This is the exact opposite of what Pierce does. Even in 2006-07 before he got injured he was working his butt off. That combined with the big 3 trying for one more title and working hard for each other make this statement ridiculous.

I have not heard of Pierce being traded anywhere else and was wondering if anyone knew where this guy was getting this.
