Celtics Receive-- Dwight Howard---- Celtics gamble on Howard, hoping they can at least keep him through next year... Have a legit chance at the title.. lots of orlando ties to make him comfortable, doc, pietrus, bass, and can sign gilbert the gun slinger to help man the vacant pg spot...

Orlando Receives-- Rondo, Jefferson, 2012 LA Clippers Pick---- orlando wants young veterans for howard and gets 2 guys in their mid 20s..they get an upgrade at the point and a low post big guy capable of 20/10..plus an extra pick....

Utah Receives-- Jameer Nelson (they need a PG and a leader), J. O'Neal (who promptly retires) and 2012 Celtics First Rounder... this saves utah about $7 million on the cap next year, it frees up some front court time for favors and kanter to develop, and nelson gives them a decent pg and a leader.. also, they will have at least 2 2012 first rounders in a good draft to supplement a good core of young guys (kanter, favors, burks, hayward), and may even have 3 if warriors finish outside top 7... they are not going to re-sign jefferson anyway after next year and want to free up some lost post touches for favors to develop who has a chance to be special..
