Potential Celtics-Thunder Trade. Thoughts?
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=cyhvfdv
This trade makes sense to me. I don't necessarily condone the trading of Rondo, but I would make an exception in this circumstance. Thunder clearly are having problems keeping Westbrook from trying to be a hero.
Celtics trade: Rajon Rondo, Avery Bradley, 1st round pick? (We have 2 1st rounders)
Thunder trade: Russell Westbrook, James Harden
Let me know if this sounds the least bit reasonable. Thanks!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Great trade but...
I’d rather have ibaka than harden because I love Moore. Westbrook>rondo and ibaka would be awesome. I want to keep our picks though because this draft will be loaded

The question is...
Why would OKC trade us 2 of their top 3 scorers for just Rondo? Essentially, that’s the only value they’d be getting back: AB is useless. He looks lost and out of place in the NBA. I know, I know – he’s “strong” defensively. Even so, that’s why they have Thabo Sefolosha. And that first rounder would be rendered useless as well as we’d be near the top of the standings with this deal. OKC is closer to a championship at this point than we are, this move would seriously set them back.
You just got Rondo'd
A lot of these kinds of trades lately where the trade partners are possible title contenders, that would just give up excellent pieces on their team just to get some of our trash (JO, Bradley etc.). We’d be lucky to get a sack of peanuts for Bradley let alone net Harden. Just funny.

I agree they wouldn't accept this
I think they would like rondo because his game fits well with Durants but they would need to shift the scoring to harden so they wouldn’t trade both. I think they would be more likely to trade ibaka but I doubt they would do it. For Westbrook and ibaka we would have to give up rondo Bradley sasha bass and Oneal. Unfortunately the contracts aren’t even close as Westbrook and ibaka combined are only 6 million where our 5 are over 20

I think there would be interest from OKC
Rondo is far better and likely to work with Durant better. Westbrook is a headcase and the Thunder would want to dump him ASAP. Now would they give up Harden as well? I doubt it. But if the Celts called offering up Rondo, OKC would take that call in a heart beat.
Durant > Westbrook, and Westbrook’s welcome in OKC is starting to wear thin.
Exactly!
This trade is ridiculous. OKC will only agree to a Westbrook – Rondo trade. They won’t throw in their other pieces like Harden or Ibaka. They aren’t stupid, OK? If I were the GM of OKC I’ll find it insulting.
trades
Lets just watch the Celtics beat up on Detroit tonight at home. Please play the young guys. I think GS is a quality center, after JO plays his five minutes starting, lets find out. Another 6 blocks, good D, rebounds, and a couple easy baskets would be nice. Moore could be our diamond in thes draft, like Cole for the Heat. Play Moore, JJ too.
Westbrook is a head case
I do not want him on the Celtics. Rondo is great, love the guy, no need to trade him.
Boston OKC
They already turned down Rondo for Westbrook, but things may have changed. We would need to get Ibaka, but I am not sure they would give him up, but Rondo could put them over the top, and Durant could force things, Perk would be on board
Monta Ellis or Stef Curry is another option
