Reggie Evans Last year with the Raptors Evans was a monster, he averaged more than 12 rebounds per game. However he played minimal games in the past two seasons due to him injuring his knees on both legs. For the Vet min, Evans can provide us with a defensive spark plug over the bench with fantastic rebounding (which the celtics lacked last season) he also averaged a high number of ofensive rebounds. Mike Dunleavy Not many fans want to see Mike with the Celtics (since he plays the same position as Green), however he can provide us with much needed offence off the bench, and as a backup for Allen and Pierce. Allen Iverson Despite being way past his prime, I believe we should sign Iverson due to the offence he can provide us with when needed. His mood can be controlled (as seen with other players when they came to the celtics) and he can be an xfactor for the majority of the season. Troy Murphy and Von Wafer Both these guys spent last season with us. Murphy had a lot of injuries and since he is now free of injuries, I believe the celtics should consider bringing him back. Wafer showed signs of good play at times, since we have alot of back to backs Wafer can be called up on more than last year to provide rest for the starters. McGrady Like Iverson McGrady is past his prime, however he played solidly last season and can play multiple positions when needed. He had solid offence and good defence with the pistons last season. Pryzbilla Had alot of injuries last season, however you cant find alot of 7foot guys who play good defence around the league. It has been rumoured that he has been contimplating reteirment, but when you get a chance to play with the celtics who are contesting for a banner, you cant say no. Dante Cunningham Played last season with the blazers and bobcats. He is young and versatile who can play several positions. Despite him probably asking for more than the minimum, we should sign him since he will be paired well with Rondo. Richard Jefferson Is going to be released from the spurs. He will still be making the salary from the spurs and as such might take a vet min deal, he can provide good defence and offence, as well as allow Pierce and Allen to rest for parts of the season. Gilbert Arenas Is probably going to be released by the Magic, and like in the case of Jefferson he is still making the salary paid from the Magic, he might accept the vet min to play for a contender. Vince Carter Is going to be released from the suns. I dont believe he will accept the min however he might be intrigued by the chance of playing with a strong team like us. TJ Ford Can be signed to play the point behind Rondo. He has good offensive skills but not so great defensive skills. Desagna Diop Is going to be released from the bobcats. He will fill a much needed position. However I dont think he can stay healthy for all the season. Al Harrignton Probably wont accept the min when released from the nuggets, but if no one comes calling he might accept. Johan Petro Is rumoured to be released by the Nets, and he will definetly be intrigued to come and play for us. A centre who can rebound at an average rate. Dan Gadzuric A centre who we might sign due to the low demand on him. Despite him being late in his career he can help us when needed. Charlie Bell Going to be released from the Warriors, he can play the 1 and 2 positions. Bostjan Nachbar Wants another go at the NBA. Will provide offence of the bench. Not the best of defenders. Roger Mason Jr. Is rumoured to want back with the kicks. However since he didnt get much minutes last season, he might join us for the same deal as long as we give a good amount of minutes.
