"Possible solution for our beloved C's?"

Inspite of strong offers from Western teams for CP3, we still have the best chance to get him since Orleans will definitely rather trade him East than West. If Indiana gets Rondo whom they highly sought while Orleans gets Jeff Green, Hansborough, Posey & Dahntay Jones (or Brandon Rush) plus future draft picks from both the Pacers & the C's, then the numbers work for all 3 teams. (Article continued down below at comment. Thank you.)

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

"Possible solution?"

Indiana for sure would want to keep Granger & Hibbert, Orleans gets 2 solid players plus buying out Posey helps (they also get future picks), they can trade away Ariza’s high contract for a player they need since they now have Green, everyone benefits including Orleans since they don’t have to face CP3 much by sending him East. Whereas Indiana, they get a very good pg in Rondo who thrives best when surrounded by talents.

But to ensure that CP3 signs long term with us, we need to get Tyson Chandler! Is that possible? The answer is yes but we will need good ol’ Larry Legend to help us once again since they have space to sign a free agent worth $12 mil. which is what Chandler seeks.
This is how it can happen: (It’s improbable, but not impossible!)

We sign & trade BBD to Indiana for $3.5 mil. which is what he made last year. If we add JO, Jajuan & E’twan (Bradley is more desirable since he didn’t show much yet makes $1.5 mil.), then that adds to $12 mil.

Will the Pacers take it?

Well, JO’s almost done while BBD’s mediocre at best. But adding our promising draft picks (plus add 1-2 future draft picks) may just do the trick, Indiana can buy-out JO giving them more space for another free agent.

It may sound like we’re giving away too many future draft picks but to have CP3 & Chandler with our Big 3 for the next 3 years (our Big 3’s final run, that’s INDUBITABLY worth it!!! We can then fill the rest of our roster with vet minimum FA’s who wants to finally win before their career is over (like Troy Murphy & other players from other teams) & unsigned rookies & Euro players.

The only problem is, we won’t have any money left for Delonte who proved to be invaluable from the bench but we still have servicable Arroyo as back-up pg.

But who knows, Shaq may unretire by March to help us, he surely wants to win another ring to match Kobe yet such a Celtic team with CP3 & Chandler is his best chance! Who knows, JO & Posey may re-sign with us for the miniumum?

The key then is Indiana. If they really want Rondo, then maybe we can ask them if they’re willing to help us land Chandler too, they get 2 promising rookies (plus future picks) & the servicable BBD & JO for keeps or for trade & buy-out.

Then we can still go after Dwight next year because we’ll have Chandler [$12 mil.] & PP [$16.5 mil.], CP3 will do an “LBJ/Bosh/Wade act” of re-signing with us long-term starting at $15 mil. to accomodate Dwight who may go to us given our strong line-up & great coach.

Then hopefully, KG & Ray re-sign for 2 more years at the minimum which is very likely since all they care about is winning a couple more rings before retiring being the super competetive players that they are who’s grown to love Boston.

Then the rest of the roster next year is filled-up with other minimum FA’s & rookies, Shaq, JO, & Posey may come on board again just to squeeze 2 more rings.

Sounds wishful thinking? Like I said, it’s highly improbable but it’s not impossible. Given DA’s genius, it can happen! All it takes is for us to ask Indiana, there’s no harm in asking especially since they want Rondo.

If not Indiana for JO, BBD, & our 2 rookies (plus future draft picks)

then maybe another team for a 3-team trade that will land us Chandler.

my solution

twolves owe the clippers a pick this year. so if they get pick 2, and clippers get 6. the celtics would get the clippers pick at 6. meaning danny can land – drummond, t. jones, p.jones, barnes, lamb, davis, beal. than use there own pick (most likely 20 – 25). on another player to add depth or package it for a veteran player. along with using the 2 2nd round picks they now have.
