Since at the end of the day, all teams play 82+ games so that one can be called the best World Champion for that particular year, how many flags has that Black Hole Kobe won compared to the other not so black holes guards? Wasnt MIchael Jordan the player that took the most shots for the Bulls all those pennant years? And which player has won the most games among existing players with the last shot of the game? Wasnt Mchale considered a black hole in his time? So what! he was one of the best power forwards that has ever played the game. Stop the hating, fellas. we have enough of it already.

Hi Ralph

You make an excellent point. +1

Decent Argument, until the "last shot" part

If you’re going off of “most shots that won a game” then you are completely skewed. When the game is on the line, statistically Kobe is one of the worst options. His ability to score in crunch time is well below that of his team’s. And considering he has ONE assist to well over 100 shots taken, it is safe to say that his “most winning shots” equates to “should have been more winning shots as a team.” Kobe is not clutch. That’s not hating, that’s the truth.

I would like to know how Kevin McHale fits on a chart like that. He was, supposedly the definition of that, according to a few people in his era.

so that means that Rajon Rondo is the 'anti-Kobe'?

it would be great news if the Boston Celtics were able to play unselfish basketball again this Thursday in order to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers for the second time this season.

Now, I’m not calling Kobe Bryant a ballhog or anything however he does tend to play alot of one-on-one basketball (iso’s, pull-up and turn-around jumpers, contested 3’s, etc) and we were fortunate to be able to get a win in LA while he Kobe was having such a great individual game.

The good news is that if we beat the Lakers again at home we might not have to worry about playing them again until next season unless we were to meet them in this years NBA Finals. Kinda makes me feel sad that we’ve already lost to the Dallas Mavericks twice this season…

And D-Rose

He’s right up there, too. Safe to say his ‘all-star’ standing is pretty much on scoring. Arguable that Rondo has the better all-round game?

and the NBA Markets which side of the Black hole?

Would love to see a foul dimension overlay…. wanna guess which side get’s the calls?

Great Analysis… we need to see more stories and reporting like this! Based on fact!! Excellent!

Rondo=point guard=MVP!

Good for Rondo.
Does it change anything? He is totally playing with a fear of getting to the line. He needs to work with Ray and put up a few hundred of them a day and get over that fear. Moreso than a jumper, I think that will make us unstopable.
