The MATCHUP - Charlotte at Boston

Time: 7:30pm est

When: March 25, 2011

Where: TD Garden

This is another game the C's should win easily, but we all saw what happened Wednesday vs. the Grizzlies. Charlotte just dont have the talent, neither the experience to keep up with a Celtics team, fresh off a practice. Again, on paper this should be a blow-out, but you never know with our TEAM!

 Last Time:

Kwame Brown, and Stephen Jackson went off on the lack of defense the C's played that night. Boston was just coming off a emotional win over Orlando in which they had lost Marquis Daniels to what was then called a "Spinal Cord Injury" This was a ugly game the last time, but clearly Charlotte was giving more energy, and effort than the C's that night.

This Time:

Gotta Stop: DJ Augustine and Stephen Jackson. Stephen Jackson is the leader of this team in scoring, and as he goes, so does the Bobcats. Ray Allen will have to stick to him, and make him very uncomfortable, and this should be a successful night. DJ Augustine is a quick point guard who can hit the open jumpers. Rondo will have to fight over screens, and stick with this guy too.

Get it to: Paul Pierce, this team has no true small forward on its roster. This is a night Paul should get whatever he wants with ease, but as a team, they're going to have to make sure he gets more touches, after all, he is our captain, and leading scorer.

X-Factor: Jeff Green - With Paul and Jeff in the line-up, you have two small forwards on the court, playing Jeff at the 3, and Paul at the 2, thats going to cause major match-up problems for a team that dont have a true Small Forward, and are inexperienced.

My prediction: Boston comes out fresh from an intense "play-off like practice" focused and determined to get back on track, with a full practice under their belt. From the opening tip it should be clear the C's will win, and they pull out a 118-96 victory.
