Whats up Celtics fans? Remember me? I'm a writer/illustrator over at Bright Side of the Sun and am currently doing a project where I am doing 30 illustrations (1 player from each of the 30 NBA teams) over 30 days. Day 5 features your own Ray Allen (or maybe his mom with a shaved head...still not sure) and I thought I'd share it with you.

Really interesting that you chose Ray over the other Big 4. He’s usually the least heralded.

Funny story on why I chose Allen (ok, not really funny but I’m going to tell it anyway) – I had already done a KG piece and a Rondo piece and had planned on doing Paul Pierce for this project. However, I was out of town for most of the day Saturday and didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked so I figured I’d do Ray Allen because he’s…well…bald.

However, officially we’ll say it’s because he broke the 3-point record this season.
