"C's made bad trade with Perk" talk needs to end NOW!
Kendrick Perkins most value to the Celtics was his occasional defensive ability but really, he was "emotionally" entrenched in what the Celtics were/are.
The trade was NOT a bad one: Jeff Green is a mini-star player - he was a starter on a very good and young OKC team and has talent through the roof - Kristic is a good throw in, too. But heck, I'd take Green in a trade over Perkins any and every day.
Danny Ainge wants to win, no doubt about it. More than any of us want the Celtics to win - he knew what he was doing with the trade. TRUST in his decision and TRUST that the Celtics will prevail.
Knicks fans are saying "knicks in six" - probably because it rhymes but let's be realistic: Celtics in five and lets get going.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Fans can agree to disagree at this point, I guess...
With a crippled Shaq, I think Perk would be a nice piece to have these days.

The PERK trade will make sense IF....
The C’s are makin a run for Dwight Howard in 2012. I consider Howard to be the best player in the NBA his freakish wing span and insane athleticism are unmatched. Could he be the key to the next Celtic Dynasty? will he jump ship like melo and Bron?

O.k., can we talk about Tony Allen?
Another player I didn’t think we should have gotten rid of.
We didn't get rid of him
The organization offered TA a fair deal and he chose to chase more playing time in Memphis. I fail to get why so many blame the organization for “losing” or “getting rid” of Tony Allen and James Posey. Both were offered contracts which they rejected. The decision to leave Boston in both instances lies with the players, not the organization.
i don’t think it was a bad trade perk isn’t the same player since hes a big unit really bad footwork yes worse than green (who needs to start skipping if he wants to improve it) i don’t like the centers we have now but i like our positions and depth at the 1,3,4 positions we really have very little depth at the 2 and next to no depth the 2 and if it wasn’t for glen id probably be raving about our depth at the 4 i think the 3 was more of a problem than the 5 no team except for orlando has a dominant 5 man so i truly like our team
Right-Click and Take It!
My pleasure! JO is one talented mo-fo back from his Blazer days and I love seeing him shine.
