Stern-2 Pacers-0
I watched both games of the Chicago-Indiana series. Late in those games, the Bulls got EVERY DARN CALL. That wasn't an offensive foul on Roy Hibbert. Jeff Foster was OBVIOUSLY PUSHED by Carlos Boozer. Stern obviously wants Chicago to win this. This should have been 2-0 Pacers or the very least 1-1. As Tommy would say: "The NBA, it's stupid!!!!" I predicted a 4-game Chicago sweep. But seeing the way the Pacers played, I'm gonna cheer for them.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Your name is "celtics own the refs"
Your complaining about the refs.
Not to mention the calls the C’s got towards the end of the game.
I hope this post is sarcasm.
I Miss Mozgov
But the refs didn’t blow a 12 point lead nor did they tell Carmelo to shoot an unnecessary 3 with Amare the hot hand player open. They also didn’t help Carmelo go 1-11 in the second half. Stop blaming the ref for a loss 2 days ago and focus on your team today. The foul wouldn’t have mattered if your team kept their above dozen lead.
The foul on Hibbert was pure BS.
And on the next possession, Jeff Foster was CLEARLY pushed by Boozer. Yet, they said the ball was deflected by Indiana when it should have been a foul on Boozer and Pacers ball. The Conseco Field House will be as loud as the Ford Center on Game 3.

I'm not sure
I think the Pacers are playing beyond anyone’s expectation. They could have and should have won one of the last 2 to win this series. That being said, I don’t think the refs gave away the games. Home teams tend to get all the iffy calls. That should be expected. Great teams win DESPITE all of that. The Bulls just play better during the cruicial part of the ballgame.
Rose just knows how to carry this team. He will either draw enough contact to go to the line or.. simply make these ridiculous looking acrobatic shots. The Pacers do not have a go-to guy. Danny Granger can’t seem to get a shot off on his own and when he does, it’s well contested.
I realy like the Pacers’ bench especially McRoberts. The Celtics could definitely use him.
"I’m going to probably fade to black,’’ he said. "To be honest, I’m not a showman guy. I’m going to fade to black. I don’t know what I will do. I’m an idealist. I have a high drive and I’m very determined. Fade to black, man, like evaporate.’’
There were some really bad calls, no doubt.
But I’m not sure they were any worse than others we’ve seen in the playoffs already. Including the Melo foul the other night.
I’ll chalk it up to some home team bias is all.

no doubt the pacers shouldve gotten at least one of those wins
superstar and homecourt treatment that makes the NBA hard to watch at times.
wish they’d do away with it all and just call the game the same for all players, all the time, whether at home or on the road

I don’t think game 1 actually had the refs decide the game because Indiana choked to me at the last minute letting them get back in, but in game 2 since I didn’t watch because of homework, but I don’t know whether or not the refs actually helped. If they did for the bulls then that just proves to me they’re not as invincible as every bulls and other NBA fans thought. I do see that Rose has to do a lot of the finishing just to win and he knows that he could get to the foul line by trying to get contact. If what everyone says is true then they’re definitely not gonna win this year especially if the Lakers get their act together and play as a team and Kobe vs. 5. They rely too much on Rose and many bulls fans are starting to see it now blaming his supporting cast for not helping him more. I believe if the Celtics have Shaq and this team plays like last year going into the finals, they can beat them.
Also bulls fans were saying pacers suck, but the pacers are defeating the odds and are going toe to toe with the top team in the NBA and they’re not backing down not one bit. I Give that team credit and full respect for fighting till the end and Im rootingnfor them.
After Donaghy's comments and all, I do sometimes wonder if Stern doesn't have this thing fixed.
I mean, look how the league now markets individual players and teams to create brand recognition and all.
Sports Illustrated had an article about home court/field/ice advantage, and it all came down to officiating. Guess we’ll see what happens in Indy.
Ouch, the refs certainly helped Da Bulls
but the refs didn’t win the game for them. It was the Pacers coach, who played Granger and Hansbrough and suddenly the Pacers defense melted down. Dunleavy and McRoberts, along with Jeff Foster were playing great, two out of them, combined with Hibbert, Paul George and TJ Ford (Collison was hurt and that was a big part of the Chi-town win also) will give lots of problems to the “best team in the league”.
I love Thibs, and Chicago’s D is great, but Da Bulls are overrated. Paul George did a huge defensive job on D-Rose, and only the refs and the poor defense by Hansbrough and Granger allowed a Chicago win. Tyler and Danny may be good players, but they didn’t play as well as their mates. They should’ve been sticked to the bench.
The Pacers will need better coaching and reffing to win a single game.
