'Twas the night before the Conference Semis

'Twas the night before the Conference Semis,

When all through the street,

Two teams were sleeping,

 The Celts and the Heat.

Both dreaming about the games they would play,

And hoping that a banner would be coming their way,

The Heat and all their players, who took their talents to South Beach,

D-Wade, Bosh, and James's giant peach,

Their fans came to their area all wearing shirts with white bleach,

Because the Superfriends declared they would win 8 'ships each.

And the folks at ESPN rode their bandwagon profusely hard,

Including their valiant leader named Chris Broussard

But don't get me wrong they had a great year,

And brought the NBA some Christmas Cheer,

And even with their unforeseen 9-8 start,

They came back and showed they had heart.

Throughout the NBA season, of 82 games,

They acquired second in the East with Lebron James,

Unfortunately this media is what the average fan got lost in,

And most people started to forgot about Boston.

To the historical wars with the drummer boys drumming,

To when Paul Revere said, "The British are coming,"

This begs the question, "How could they forget and not see?"

The legendary harbors, the town of immortality

The city that has stood since its founding,

That witnessed the great Bill Russell's rebounding

And the Cowens' dive, and Bird' steal,

All of these moments have kept Celtic tradition real.

And 2 years ago it was the same story,

The Celtics returned to their old glory,

They had gotten Jesus and "the Kid",

And went on to win it all, and win it all they did,

They have needed two years to regroup,

They were too laid back,

With this new secondary troop,

They are back on track,

They have KG, Ray, PP and Rondo that make up their core,

Who fans everywhere call the "Big Four"

The Celts are done playing for fun,

The Window is closing, and the Celt fans want it done

The Heat are up next, a good denfesive team,

But can they stop the Celtic green?

If the Celts hustle, play good ball and are mean,

(Who knows) will they get
