PLAYING GM!
As i stated in my last post , the C's have very little wiggle room to tweak this roster, all the people i see saying blow up the team, and trade RONDO, or KG! just relax. We need some athletic dirty work guys, our core is fine we just miss the glue guys we let walk in free agency since the '08 title team, guys like james posey, leon powe, tony allen! With how well Toney Allen played in last seasons playoffs against Lebron James and, Kobe Bryant. there is no way danny or ownership should have not given him the 3yr deal he was asking for. I did not like the perk deal but still thought we were best team in the EAST even after the trade. Did not like giving up Nate Robinson, mainly because he is a perfect second unit guy! he changes the pace of the game , and he's a flat out scorer. So lets look ahead to next season. resign BIG BABY, even if u plan to use him in a sign in trade for someone like CARL LANDRY. Memphis is stock piled with athletic 2's and 3's! i mention this because they will have to unload some of those player because minutes will be limited once Rudy Gay returns. Also the return of last yr's lottery pick Xavier Henry. So im playing GM here i would move RAY ALLEN and his expiring contract to memphis for OJ MAYO and SAM YOUNG. Even if we have to throw in a future pick! MAYO wants to be a starter witch he wont be in memphis, i believe he is a great talent and playing on a veteran team like this one would help his progress. SAM YOUNG was a second round p;ick out of PITT extremely gifted athlete who defends. As for the help we need up front im pretty sure we wont have the money to pay a guy like NENE , so we must be realistic. DEANDRE JORDAN, JOEL PRZYBILLA, KWAME BROWN, SAMUEL DALEMBERT, names like this! rebounding/shot blockers. Also guys like Anthony Parker, Taysuan Prince, Maurice Evans, Josh Howard, Reggie Evans are guys who could be had for a low price tag. Would love to hear you guys feedback!!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Draft/Trade
I wonder if the Celtics could trade the number 25 pick to Sacramento for a big such as Thompson. Also, a possible trade for Boston would be the second round pick plus a return of one of Cleveland’s future second round picks to Cleveland for Clevleand’s second round pick in this draft. This draft is supposed to be deep and a player who could make the roster might be available at Cleveland’s second round pick.
Got to say no to trading Ray
Ray is the best shooter in the NBA if not the best ever. He seems to be in better shape than any of our Big 3. If anyone of our veterans is going to keep up with the young guys its him. He shouldnt be traded in my opinion. After next season if he dosent retire I think he could be signed to a minimum contract to help the trasition from the Big 3 to whatever comes next. Imagine Ray as a role player, or he could still be starting in 2013 either way he is too good to trade right now. Same with KG if he dosent retire after 2012 and can be signed to a minimum contract to come off the bench we would be looking at one heck of a bench. Hope the big three is around for a few more years. Imagine KG getting 15 minutes a night as a role player. Same with Ray, and Pierce ( even though I think Pierce is likely to start untill 2014). These guys may not be as valuable in a couple of years but what they could offer in a limited role is still big. I hope thats Danny’s plan bring in talent after 2012 when the most money will be available and keep our vets around as role players.
