Would Jr.Smith be the C's best look for Scoring and Athletism?
This kid has a mind of his own but can Doc Rivers change that?Nate Robinson was an headache on Knicks and matured alot in a Celtics Jersey.I would take a chance on him if the C's really want scoring. We know Davis ain't staying on this team. You can tell by when he said,'I Know i can be a Starter in this League and i have more to offer" says it all?Danny Ainge is looking for a trade for Davis i bet on that,so if Danny is why not Jason Thompson?Who else to fill the Roster of 2011-2012 Celtics remains uncertain.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

No Smith
Do a little digging into Smith! He’s not a good guy!
His problems go well beyond his Basketball attitude!
I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole.
ya i agree
but the same goes for West, Robinson and the big baby…
Players to get
Carl Landry looks like a legit scorer who can replace Davis. As much as Davis looked good in the first half of the season, he wasn’t quite as effective in the postseason. Dalembert has good shotblocking skills. JR. Smith, uhhhh we’re getting a handful here.
Not with a 10 foot poll
Good player with way too many issues.
The Celtics already have one head case in Rondo we don’t need a second.
Issues...
Do you really think the Celtics are not going to pick up a player because he has off (or on) court issues.
We signed Stephon Marbury for God’s sake!
Doc could fix J.R up, he’s not that much of a bag egg, I think he’s the best fit here, much better than Monta, Jamal Crawford and everyone else being mentioned. Right combination of athleticism (can finish ABOVE the rim, huge for us), can space the floor with his jumper AND can actually play D, unlike most other scorers.. He’s exactly what we need. Monta etc are too much money for what they’re doing, and have too many downsides, no D etc.
I’d happily take a “head case” if it gave us a championship, Danny has showed that he thinks exactly the same so I think JR is a great fit.
People asking for Dalembert are IDIOTS, have you seen this guy play? He can shot block (not overly well either, only just above average).. BUT THAT’S IT. No scoring, nothing else. We might as well have Chris Johnson again. Dalembert is not coming to Boston (he wants out of Sacramento because he wants more minutes, he certainly wont get them here with Jermaine probably starting and how we go small with KG at 5 late in games) and he’s not worth the money anyway. Don’t just youtube his highlights, watch a random game, he’s awful. The Sixers disliked him so badly they considered Spencer Hawes an upgrade, which he has proved to be, that shows how expendable Dalembert is.
Landry is nice but we won’t get him for Big Baby and that’s all we have to trade.
Somebody will overpay for Dalembert but it won't be Danny
Just makes no sense to trade away Perk and pick up a guy who is pretty much equivalent. Perk slightly better on defense and Dal better shot blocker and slightly better shot.
