Monta Ellis in Green?
I pondered around the salaries of the Celtics and came up with a trade(this came off the top of my head so chill):
Boston Recieves: Monta Ellis (be great with rondo), Adris Beidrens
GS recieves : Ray allen, Big baby, Jermaine o'neal, and maybe top ten protected from clippers.
With our current pick we have this year, we can draft a big man to play center or compliment KG like Justin Harper or a defensive player!
* Getting Ellis leaves us with a future core of Ellis, Rondo, and Green. THATS NASTYYY!!
Let me know what you guys think! THANKS FOR READING!!
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

W/O beidriens
Without beidrens we can give them Ray allen, avery bradley, any veteran salary player(i.e carlos aroyyo, troy murphy, sasha), and a 1st round protected pick!!
This actually seems like a
good idea! Rondo can have Green and Ellis run the fast break, and intensify the athleticism. 2 of the the fastest players in the NBA as our back court! But honestly, we need a center, and the way I see this year’s draft, we aren’t getting anybody that could contribute immediately. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
What If we use MLE for a solid Center or two? Dalembert, Tyson Chandler(Likely won’t happen), and keep Jermaine, and have a role player-ish backup – Maybe Pryzbilla, Nazr Mohammad, or Aaron Gray?
Plans....READ DANNY AINGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tis is how i look at it, we have a young PG, then a young SG, then we have Paul pierce who i soon hope a young Jeff Green will take over after he reitres, then we have KG, this years or next year’s draft pick we should draft for a future PF who can start for us, at the Center, we can get someone off of FA wil the MLE, possible DeAndre Jordan or Kwame brown, but then again, we might still have Jermain o neal, but this is my futre line up (starters)
PG-Rondo
SG-Monta Ellis
SF-Jeff Green
PF-25th/2012 pick, possibly sign and trade with BBD for Carl landry?
C-Samuel D./Tyson Chand/Nene/JO/DeAndre
thats a developing team at its best right there, with no real veteran, that line up is extremely explosive, not to mention avery bradley who we should keep. This looks like a dominant lineup. I also noticed that when PP and KG retire, thatll leave us witha lilttle money to get us a quality, PF/C.
Thanks.
that looks like a 30 win team to me.
fast, sure. but no defense, no leadership, and a bunch of players who need to the ball in their hands in order to score. Just like the Warriors of today.

2005 Draft : Ellis was the 40th pick
Ainge pcked Gerald Green at 18
Avery
Ellis is a driver. Ainge is now saying that Bradley is so good he would be a top 5 pick. Bradley is a pull up jump shooter, athletic, and quick. He fits better with Rondo. Both Bradley and Rondo on the court is going to spook most teams guards. The emergence of Bradley make a major contribution to next years team.
Ellis fixes one problem but creates plenty of new ones
He’s a volume shooter who doesn’t play d. If he came here maybe the Celtics can work their magic and he can become a good teammate, but he’s not a good one in Golden State. There was the can’t play together with curry comment, he believes he should be an all-star based on his numbers, he believes he’s better than lebron or kobe (whichever one he said), way too much arrogance for what he does. He’s about as anti-celtic as it gets imo.
Ellis
Yet to see Bradley do anything good maybe trade with GS throw in Baby and Bradley
Won't Be Able to Play With Rondo
Monta Ellis needs the ball in his hands way too much for a shooting guard, especially when paired with a PG who likes to handle the ball, penetrate to score/ set up others. This is why him and Curry don’t work out well together. Additionally, this would be a nightmare against Miami because Ellis won’t or can’t play defense and D-Wade would abuse Ellis on the block. Ellis needs to play with someone like Derek Fisher, or Mo Williams. Or just move to PG.
