Possible Celtics roster next year
The Celtics will likely keep the core group together. But there will be small but key changes in the roster.
Starters:
Center - Nenad Krstic
Power Forward - Kevin Garnett
Small Forward - Paul Pierce
Shooting Guard - Ray Allen
Point Guard - Rajon Rondo
Second unit:
Center - DeAndre Jordan (maybe he'll switch with Nenad), Jermaine O'neal (or Shaq since one of them is bound to retire)
Power Forward - Troy Murphy (let's give him another shot)
Small Forward - Jeff Green
Shooting Guard - Jamal Crawford (MLE)
Point Guard - Delonte West, Avery Bradley (they'll surely try to develop him)
The other guys: Von Wafer, Sasha Pavlovic, Carlos Arroyo
DeAndre Jordan will sign a one-year contract so Boston will let him walk then sign Dwight in 2012. This team here might be better than the 2008 and 2010 teams. Jeff Green, Troy Murphy and Delonte West have to sign one-year contracts as well but they'll return for less money in 2012 after signing DH12. If the 2012 team wins a title, DH will be attracted and will surely come here.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Im not trying to kill yur buzz but.....
that team is not going to win a championship or attract any superstar. If we want to win a title, we need a major change in the lineup, not the bench so much of. This roster you put up is relying solely on the bench players to win a championship. Now don’t get me wrong, Jamaal C and Troy at the PF, may add some scoring, but nothing else. With the Big 3 deteriorating, Rondo’s Jumpshot and Jeff Green’s potential may be the only thing that can save us.
Troy Murphy isn't coming back...
The way Doc has been playing him, he’ll regret signing with Boston over the Heat his entire life. Murphy was averaging almost 34 seconds a game in the playoffs.
Kristic should be a role player – He can give short bursts of energy but slows down if you play him too much.
Also, what do you plan on doing with our pick?
You know what sucks about this off season....
It;s to hard to predict what can or what will happen without knowing what the new cba will look like. For all we know they might take out mid level exception and make a hard cap, then the c’s couldnt do anything.
As for Crawford I think he will sign where the most money is so i dont think he would sign a mid level with us. I do agree if we go in next season with basically the same team our hopes would be on Rondo’s hopefully imporoved jumper, Green breaking out.
this is flawed IMO
first of all, crawford taking the MLE is unlikely IMO, he’s asked for a longterm deal from the hawks for $10m a season
2nd, how do you get deandre jordon if you used the MLE on crawford? clippers arent going to trade him and will match any reasonable offer.
i agree krstic, green and west likely stay and that davis is gone. hopefully in a sign and trade so we can get something decent in return. even if thats just a trade exception.
i expect danny to go after veritle guys who are athletic and can score all over the floor, rebound
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
im gonna be all up on you like a spider monkey!

Marcus Thornton
Get rid of Baby and go after SG Thornton or Nick Young keep Murphy and go after 2 bigs in the draft …… Jordan Williams and Craig Smith or other…… release Wafer and Arroyo also Pavlovic maybe consider going after PG Bayless …..
to get Howard we need to trade for them
Magic would definetly go for a bunch of roll players like Big Baby and jeff green and a few other players if they have a good feeling he wont come back in 2012
