Well Lebron James...

For those who enjoy watching sports, especially the NBA, will enjoy the fact that you failed once again.

You choked on the big stage and you no longer can blame your teammates, your coach, ANYONE on your failure.

Good luck next year, you douchebag.

by AlexC on Jun 13, 2011 7:31 AM EDT reply actions

It's tomorrow

Yea, but I bet I’m having a better day then you.

by John Burton on Jun 13, 2011 7:51 AM EDT reply actions

yea, me too.

My life’s pretty damn good lebron, how’s yours?

by hpantazo on Jun 13, 2011 8:07 AM EDT up reply actions

He's a millionaire

Living in Miami, 26, can get almost anything he wants (except a championship ring), is in the NBA, doesn’t have to get up in the morning to go work a 9 to 5, so i think his life is definietly pretty good :)

by AT-360 on Jun 13, 2011 8:11 AM EDT up reply actions

I guess if that's how you measure life...

He seems to me an exceptionally sorry piece of work despite his ‘superstar’ status.

by clover on Jun 13, 2011 8:48 AM EDT up reply actions

you forgot to add 'douchebag' to that list.

by mmmmm on Jun 13, 2011 11:38 AM EDT up reply actions

He is a douche, But I had a revelation today as I was waxing a boat here in florida(yeah lebron Im middle class)...

Lebron is Pippen not Jordan!
I guess it just came to me…lol
But if the heat added better pieces make Wade the true number 1, Lebron the 2, and stay in that role the heat would not look like chickens with their heads cut off. That can be a hell of a team when each players role is defined. Lebron can still be a HOF, but wade is more MJ than he is.

by businessbmw on Jun 13, 2011 9:49 PM EDT up reply actions

While I live the connection and agree with basically all of it, but...

You could count on Pippen, you cant count on James. I could be a difference of expectation between the two players, either way your right is could be the best supporting player that ever played the game, but he will never accept that role.

by Celticnation on Jun 14, 2011 1:08 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, problems are the same but aren't as heavy.

Yesterday. even for just a day, life proved that it can be fair. For us working hard but still struggling with our own problems, I’m proud to say that we are certainly not QUITTERS and will never quit the same way Lebron did.

He has his Millions, but at the end of his career, I won’t be surprised if he ends up more broke than Scottie Pippen.

by adamantium17 on Jun 13, 2011 7:59 AM EDT reply actions

This is disturbing

I hope he doesn’t end up like Michael Jackson who’s lonely as hell.

by sexybeast on Jun 13, 2011 8:09 AM EDT reply actions

you mean was lonely? right!?

or maybe you where living in that hide out with Bin Laden and just never got the news that Michael died… lol

by businessbmw on Jun 15, 2011 11:12 PM EDT up reply actions

These comment just show us what Lebron really thinks of the fans

He basically just said “Whatever! Im rich and my life is great. Championship or no, I’m still better than you!”

by MattyFree on Jun 13, 2011 8:32 AM EDT reply actions

Yep.

Sociopath. Douche-bag.

Take your pick. Both are clearly applicable.

and when he wakes up in the morning with his millions, he is still ugly

by gocanes1 on Jun 13, 2011 5:15 PM EDT up reply actions

James should also remember the reverse of his statement is true as well.

Anyone who bothered to root for James also had to wake up this morning to the same life. Except, they’re likely to be a bit more depressed. So perhaps they should learn not to root for entitled, arrogant prima donnas who look down upon them.

As for me, though, I’m feeling fine.

How come

when you ask Lebron for a dollar he only gives you 75 cents? Because he doesn’t have the 4th quarter!

by SpecialKxm107 on Jun 13, 2011 8:59 AM EDT reply actions

it almost felt like i was rooting for the C's.

Le bron is quite right.. we will wake up to our humble lives….enjoying the little things that he lost touch with years ago.
Meanwhile Riley will need to see if DW & CP3 can bring there talents to Miami.
Because Le bron can’t do this alone.
I for one getting sick of this kid… bottom line is Karma is a funny this.
The king managed to drag wade down with him.
Go Celtics!

by tommyfan on Jun 13, 2011 9:05 AM EDT reply actions

Thoughts on LeBron

He is far too concerned about how much people hate him, and seems to want to egg everyone on, but can’t handle the disdain when he is faced with it. For the 3rd/4th year in a row, he faded when his team needed him most. He can keep talking about titles, but he has 3-4 years left in his prime, and Miami isn’t going to win it all with the roster they’ve got. LeBron has shown everyone that he isn’t a playoff guy. I’d take Robert Horry over LeBron in the finals any day of the week.

by RickyD Fan on Jun 13, 2011 9:08 AM EDT reply actions

at the end of the day

big shot Rob will still have more rings than a would-be king

by Banner 18 on Jun 13, 2011 9:17 AM EDT up reply actions

Interesting to bring that up but imho, an in his prime Horry on that team instead of Bron and they win the title this week

he’d have made muiltiple key threes and there would have been no confusion who would need the ball(Wade) in his hands all the time. Horry was on SEVEN title teams.

His little discussion may reveal his problem. He is so uncomfortable when things get really really tough, he just can’t function it because he already really has what he wants. He really needs a team to carry him from the ten to across the goal line. Well he makes too much money for that. Maybe he can sign with Chicago for the vet minimum in a few years and he will be onto something.

by wahz on Jun 13, 2011 11:33 AM EDT up reply actions

At the end of the messiah's career

Big Shot Rob will still have more rings than the messiah.

Likely 7 more.

Woke up today

Feeling quite contented that that preening egomaniac has been denied a title. Thank you, Mavs.

by kozlodoev on Jun 13, 2011 9:14 AM EDT reply actions

people don't need to root for you to fail LeBron

you’re doing a fine job of failing on your own

and quit being such an entitled brat, no one is going to hand over a trophy to you, you got to earn it by being clutch, period

in other words, grow up man, you have the attitude of a high school kid

Just the worst....

He has officially changed his name to He Hate Me now right?

He is

the biggest front-runner I’ve ever seen in professional sports. When his team is up he’s throwing down dunks and posing for the camera and making jokes on the sideline. But when a team steps up (like the Mavs and the Celtics before them) and punches him in the mouth he wilts like a flower.

I’m loving every second of this over-hyped, arrogant, childish punk’s misery. Thank you Mavs!

The more LeBron, talks the more people dislike him

I have disliked LeBron for a good, long time now. He is, on the surface, a pompous jerk. Oh, and there’s the whole meek inheriting the earth thing (which can be taken literally or metaphorically).

Now, by no means am I perfect. I have taken many of shots at him. I wish I hadn’t.

At this point I just feel sadness for him. He is a lost soul. Most likely this is a result of many factors, but, it is almost undenialable now.

As far as basketball is concerned, I have no deisre to ever see LeBron win a single thing. He is the enemy, and further more, is too self-entitled. But as a man, I hope he sees how much he is truly being humbled.

Yes I had to go to work today

But the air feels that much crisper, the sun feels that much sunnier and the water tastes that much sweeter.
And Lebron James image is tarnished for all the world to see.
I didn’t just fall flat on my face.

Dear Mr. James,

I regret to inform you that you failed to reach your goal, once again. You need to realize that wining a championship requires talent and class. From your “ignorant” and “childish” acts and demeanor, I will go ahead and assume you have no class – same goes for Mr. Wade who has displayed his skills (especially his dancing abilities). I bet both of you feel really “ignorant” and “childish” for taunting the Mavs bench. I hope you stop allowing or asking people to refer to you as King James. Kings are defined by how many battles they win – in your case, rings; and you have none! So until you become a champion, please learn how to stop being so stuck-up and full of yourself! Take this summer and work on your fourth quarter points! You need it!!!

LeBron has a lot of growing up to do. Clearly the anger and resentment is getting to Lebron. But he put himself in this position to receive all the negativity and criticism. Can’t say I feel sorry for him. He needs to humble himself as an athlete and person.

Lebron is terrible with words.

I see what he’s trying to say, but he just said it in the worst way possible.

I think he was trying to say “You’ve gained nothing from my failure”.

What he said sounds like “My life is still better than yours”.

LeBron is such a dumbnutt.

Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...

by ManUp on Jun 13, 2011 2:44 PM EDT reply actions

The problem, ManUp...

Is that the messiah doesn’t think he failed. Had he not set the bar so high with the preseason championship celebration, he’d be right.

Less the external wackiness.....

I’d have loved to have had a warrior like Rodman in green.

The messiah is the anti-warrior.

by Finkelskyhook on Jun 13, 2011 5:12 PM EDT up reply actions

I honestly would have found it difficult to cheer for Rodman.

I recently watched a few Youtube mash ups and it reminded me of what a dirty, cheap player he was. I like guys who play hard and physical, but I’m not into purposefully trying to injure opponents, or turning basketball into pro wrestling with buffoonery.

by Cousin It on Jun 13, 2011 5:35 PM EDT up reply actions

Its tommorow now

And I still feel really good about yesterday. I’m from Australia where there are a whole bunch of new Heat ‘fans’ who enjoy worshiping dunks, shiny things and douchebags. Nothing pissed me off more that a whole bunch of new Heat fans who knew nothing about basketball gave me heaps about the Celtics getting knocked out by ‘their team’. Its my time to “ner ner”

Yes we do Lebron, but you get to wake up the same too... An utter failure

Also, us Celtics fans, like yesterday, have 16 more reasons why it’s better to be a Celtics fan rather than a Heat fan

by pauljr on Jun 13, 2011 10:27 PM EDT reply actions

Do you know what's sad though? People are actually defending him for it.

Sorry to bring race into it, but I’m black and many black people that I’ve seen said that I was supposed to support LeBron. Like seriously? Are you serious? Yea I would support my own, but when they’re wrong they’re wrong and his comments were wrong period. Stop making excuses for the guy and people wonder why he’s the way he is. I’m sorry, but just because were the same race doesn’t mean I have to stand for some of the ignorance that was said. I do feel some of the hate is overblown, but he out himself in the spot and made himself the villain and now wants to play victim. Please get out of here with that mess.
He basically said people who “rooted” against him or his critics will go back to their miserable lives and he will always be rich and happy. Well I woke up today and I was happy, it was a sunny and beautiful day and I had an overall good day. How about LeBron?

Also people are saying well it’s their first year they went farther in their first year then people thought. Like seriously? Again are you kidding me? If Boston didn’t win in their 1st year they would not get as many excuses as Miami and also people seem to forget they said they were gonna win in the 1st year, ESPN said they were gonna win their first year and basically handed them the championship. They said the game was gonna be easy and all that cocky and arrogance backfired and yes Boston won in their first year, but the reason why they don’t have more was because of injuries to players.
Stop making excuses and stop trying to baby them they ate their words and now have egg in their faces.
Tired of this mess and no I’m not hating on LeBron you can root for the other and not be because of hate.
