The Team the Big Baby Davis is going to...
The Oklahoma City Thunder. My main reason is because of Nate Robinson. They are Shrek and Donkey, they are best friends. Right now the two of them are on a beach in Hawaii. If Glen Davis is on the Thunder, he wouldnt get the exact role he would like but would get a better one, the sixth man. I think after the OKC/Boston trade happend and Jeff Green came over, he became the teams sixth man. Glen is probably the seventh man on the team in minutes with the arrival of the two. If he would start in OKC heres the lineup I think would take place...
PG: Russell Westbrook
SG: Kevin Durant
SF: Serge Ibaka
PF: Glen Davis
Even though it probably won't be like that, I still think he will go to OKC even if he doesnt get the role he wants because of the people there. He has friends there in Nate and Perk, Oklahoma is pretty close to Louisiana where BBD went to school and so he has friends there. Its a good transition from a old team to a young, fast team. Tell me what you think and what team you think Glen Davis will be playing for next year.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Serge Ibaka at the 3? Uhhh. But yeah I see him going to any team offering him money. He clearly doesn’t like Boston anymore & is basically just trying to talk his way out of town. I was a fan in the earlier part of the season of Baby, but then he just became a black hole & played himself out of a nice contract. He refuses to mature after 4 years of KG making him cry, punching his best friend & breaking his hand WHILE his friend was driving!!! He talks down about Doc & Danny, wants to start over KG, etc. I’m through with him, he could go to Miami & I wouldn’t care one bit.

BBD already said he wants to START
so that leaves teams will bad PF’s or underperforming PF’s.
IMO, the hornets (if west opts out), pistons, pacers and maybe the kings (if dalembert leaves and cousins plays center) are the only teams that he has a chance to do that.

yeah i have the pacers signing glen as well
which stinks cuz thiere’s no player really i want from the pacers meaning we’ll lose glen for nothing
Ibaka at SF? Can he shoot threes now?
Big Baby’s going to Cleveland, in a S&T for Hickson, or for the Wolves’ Randolph or Beasley! NOw that’s funny!
Fans don’t insult their own players because their team lost. They don’t turn their backs on a player because they go through a slump. The way these “fans” scapegoat Davis and Rondo is sad. I only expect that from Miami and LA band-wagoners.

I don't think their using Davis as a scapegoat
Davis is an undersized power forward with a weight problem who can’t jump, he doesn’t rebound well at all for his position, can’t keep up with quicker forwards and can’t defend the shot of taller forwards. He hustles though, draws a lot of charges and has an okay mid range jumpshot. That’s all he’s average at best. A guy like Davis would only play in garbage time on a team like, Dallas, LA, Chicago and I’m not sure he’s good enough to start on any team in this league.
Davis is undersized, but he does not have a weight problem. His weight does not affect his agility which indicates it’s mostly muscle. One has to have incredible lateral quickness to be able to take a charge. He can’t defend the shots of taller forwards, but he uses his strength to keep other forwards out of the paint and force them to take jump shots. He also uses his strength to fight against NBA centers behind KG. He’s also a versatile scorer. His best shot is actually a turn-around fade-away jumper. He can spin off either foot. He can also knock down open shots at an excellent percent for a 4/5. He can also get offensive rebounds to give us extra possessions. He’s a “both ends of the floor” player who plays hard and with heart. Every team on the NBA could use a guy like him starter or bench player.

somewhere......... someday
Whether BBD stays or goes is going to be decided by him and our GM. Wanting to be a starter and make starter money will likely be the reason he leaves, wanting the big bucks is likely why Danny lets him go. BBD is too slow to play SF and not big enough to play PF in most cases. He will forever be a role player/bench player at this level. Someday, even he will realize that. He has heart and hustle, but not the skill set to start for a team wanting to compete for a title.
