Report: Nenad Krstic Signing With Russian Team

The Kendrick Perkins trade just got a little bit worse for us.

Update 2 - Done Deal.

Twitter / @hoopshype:

Got confirmation that Russian reports are true and Nenad Krstic is indeed joining CSKA Moscow.

Update: Nenad Krstic still in talks with CSKA Moscow | Russia | Europe | Sportando

According to sources close to the situation, Nenad Krstic is negotiating with CSKA Moscow on a two-year bassi but the agreement has not been reached yet.

So maybe the deal isn't done yet. (Original post follows)

More bad news.  Nenad Krstic is reportedly headed overseas.

Krstić moving back to Russia, agrees with CSKA

Three years after leaving Russia to go back to the NBA, Nenad Krstić is set move back to Europe and sign for CSKA Moscow. The Serbia national team centre agreed to a two-year deal worth six million euros with the reigning Russian champions.

That leaves our potential big man rotation to be Jermaine O'Neal and .... that's it.  I guess it isn't a "rotation" if there's just one guy.

Does this make re-signing Big Baby a higher priority?  I wouldn't call Krstic a critical piece, but he was a piece and without him (and Shaq) the team may have to alter their offseason strategy somewhat.

Hey, is Chris Johnson available?

Man, that Clippers pick we got from OKC better be a real steal.
