What we need is........

What we really need is an interchangeable line up. Dallas just won a title with an interchangeable line up. We can't have RA, PP, and KG play every night, 40 minutes a night. We need to save their legs for the playoffs. Even in the playoffs they probably can't play every night. So here's my plan. We resign Delonte West, he's already proven that he can play real well, my only problem is that will he be able to play the SG if we don't find another SG to back up RA? Next I say we go out and get Michael Redd. We'll get him for cheap because he'llhave no leverage after his injury (maybe a 1 year minimum contract?). Next (I don't love this one) we do a S&T with BBD for Jason Thompson (he's young, athletic and could start for us). Next we haven't used MLE or the Bi-annual yet (if are those) so I say we sign Reggie Evans to a Bi-annual contract and have him be the 3rd PF behind KG and J3. And sign J.R. Smith to the MLE. If you don't want Michael Redd then we'll keep Smooge (E'twan Moore). I say give Robert Swift a chance as the 3rd center. PG: Rondo, Bradley, West SG: Allen, Smith, Redd or Moore SF: Pierce, Green PF: Garnett, Johnson, Evans C: J. O'Neal, Thompson, Swift

I don't know about JR

No question the dude can score at will but I am not sure his personality fits with the team. He might bring some chemistry issues though. I agree with all of your suggestions, but personally Caron Butler should be taking the MLE instead of JR. He is capable of playing the two or three and has a game just like Pierce. The only problem is we are a little bit stacked at the 3 spot

Dont like Redd, Evans, and Swift

I like JR Smith because he is like a taller Nate Robinson, he can dunk and shoot. But I guarantee that he wont accept the MLE if there is one. Redd is too old and we need to get young, evans isnt a good player overall, and swift… well we dont really know about him. He is 7’2" and will probably get injured a lot. like Doc said “There are a handful of 7 footers, but most of them cant play” it was something like that i think.

Yeah, I forgot

That Shannon Brown might hate the Celtics, but if he would accept the MLE and join us then he could get a starting role on most nights, until the playoffs, because Ray will need rest considering that there are 20 back to back games in our schedule, if there is a season.
