Kevin Martin anyone?

I know this may sound crazy, but  it's absolutely a possibility. Look at the trade

Ray Allen - 10 m

Avery Bradley 1.5 M

First round pick (ABSOLUTELY NOT TOP 10)

For

Kevin Martin 11.5 M (as long as he's willing to ink a long term deal)

This would make our post big 3 era a lot more successful and this season more then any do we have the chance to do it. Even if we have to throw in a 2nd round pick some were in the mix it woud still benefit us in the long run.

I really dont want to be cliche like all of these other trade posts, but i have to do it anyways...

2012 Roster

Rajon rondo

Kevin Martin

Jeff Green

Jujuan Johnson

Dwight howard ---- i know its an extremely longshot, but with this team he has to like his opportunity to win a ring, and many more in the future. It was dwight howard or a question mark so i opted for dwight howard.

The best part about it is all the athletic ability that the team will have, especially if we are able to grab dwight via free agency, but besides that, even if we dont get dwight, we still have a good first round pick to look forward to.

Thoughts?

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

That would be a great trade

Especially if they still have the wink wink sign the player again after 30 days in the cba and ray can come back. Martin’s defense needs a lot of work, but man can he shoot and get to the line.

If he became a Celtic his chances of getting to the line are about as good as Dwight Howard becoming a 3 point threat.

The Rockets would never accept and...

Bradley is going to be good one day, and If you want to give up this much, why not get someone better.

Good idea but...

I wouldn’t give up Bradley and a first rounder, next year’s draft is really strong and I think we need all of our picks. Bradley will be a great player just needs to develop, and how after the big 3 era will KM last?? He’s getting old too.

Next years draft will be stacked.

Martin is a fine offensive talent. If you need scoring he can do that for you, but that’s about it.

I wouldnt mind seeing Martin come off the bench next season but Allen is just too good for this team and hopefully will be signed for a low $ amount after his contract is up, and help the Celtics through the transitional times that lay ahead.

but Allen is just too good for this team

….not really….

Its all about money, its all about Banner 18

That line up isn’t all that scarey…Kevin Martin so far has been a good player on so so teams. I don’t think that line up would be enough to entice Dwight to come to Boston. Matin is solid but one demensional.

I know this has been said before but Dwight and Rondo are a collective liability at the line in close games ( which to me) vastly decreases the value of having both of them on the floor at the same time…not saying I don’t want Dwight. Now CP3 and Dwight on the other hand….. (:
