Will the NBA lose future Fans If games are missed?

Lets face it, the NBA is not the NFL... Duh... lol

The NBA does not have the pull that the NFL has, love the Celtics but the Pats come 1st in my list. Now don't think im putting the NBA down, i watch about 60 games a season and Im a big fan, the reason im putting all this out there is that for the growth of the NBA they need to draw in new fans, the NBA does not have the influence of the NFL in that the NFL can close down for a year and fans would still be hungry for football, Stern and the owners are wrong to think that missed games in the NBA would not matter. I think Stern is putting all his eggs in 1 basket and counting on the growth of the NBA to come from overseas. He takes the national fans for granted, and quite frankly i don't think there is growth of the sport coming internally, with the new CBA the league wants to also restrict the Big markets with salary restrictions and higher luxury tax, doing that to LA, Boston, New York... will backfire.

Im sorry but i just don't think a OKC and Indiana finals will draw many fans to their TV, now im not saying that small market teams can't be at the top, but im saying that the C's, LA, Knicks need to be up there Constantly to draw in the fans.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.
