Kevin Garnett Was There For Marquis Daniels
No surprises here. For all the flack that Kevin Garnett gets for being less than cordial to opponents, nobody has ever questioned his love for his teammates.
#Beleedat: Marquis Daniels fights to play again
"I just remember I kept hearing Kevin [Garnett] telling me, ‘You’re gonna be alright. You’re gonna be alright,’" Daniels told CSNNE.com in a telephone interview. "I was like, ‘I can‘t move.’ He said, ’What do you mean?’ He kept telling me I was gonna be alright. I think that helped me out a lot, just hearing his voice telling me I was going to be alright. I stayed calm, I didn’t panic. "It was a trying time for me. I didn’t take anything for granted. I was going to take everything seriously from now on."
Check out the rest of the article as well. Quality work by Jessica Camerato as always.

I remember the ...
Daniels injury incident and though all the teammates showed concern I recall KG being very verbal and extra physically close to Daniels.
I was not sure what KG was saying at the time but assumed as the article now points out, KG was giving Daniels words of encouragement …which was a class act.
Warrior
That’s why I dig KG so much, he is a warrior. If you are on his team, you are ON his team. Everyone else is the enemy and all is fair in war, because there ain’t no love! His team mates know he’s down for them and truly cares.
You are so right.
