Nenad Krstic Has A Buyout Clause
This isn't going to help the Celtics this year, but Nenad Krstic technically has the option of returning to the NBA after next season (if there is a season).
Exclusive: Krstic has $1M buyout with CSKA Moscow
Contrary to prior reports, Nenad Krstic does have a buyout clause in his two-year contract with CSKA Moscow, and it’ll cost him $1 million to return to the NBA for the 2012-13 season. "Actually I have a one plus one," Krstic told SheridanHoops. "So after the first year I can go back to the NBA. It’s my option, the second year. I can stay if I want, or if I have offers from the NBA I can accept them."
Too bad he can't come back this year. He wasn't ideal but he had a role.

Move on from Krstic.
While he was serviceable during his time w/ Boston, develop some other younger player….preferably a big using his slot in the line up.
r u challenged? We can't move on from the best off-boarding big we had last season!
Its all about money, its all about Banner 18
I actually liked Nads. He had good feet and hands and
he was beginning to learn the C’s defense. I think Doc blew it with him.

Kristic...
I think was a good fit for the C’s in 2011 playing along side the old veteran core and considering all the other Celtic centers ( Perk, J.O. Shaq and Erden) broke down during the season and the C’s were in dire need of a center, he was also very much needed at the time …and did not do a bad job for a role player and backup big.
Kristic also would of been great to have this year as a stop gap center especially with the C’s in need of centers with just J.O. on the roster and all the health issues he has.
But as far as signing Kristic potentially in 2013, unless he wants to sign on the cheap, Id prefer the C’s as they seek to rebuild use the roster spot on a younger center who has more upside and more future potential.
disappointing
if there’s a season and he could have returned (and he wanted to play for the C’s again), he’d be a good backup C and one less slot Danny will have to scramble to fill. Sadly, Danny still needs to get a couple of centers for the season that are durable and skilled enough to step into the starting line-up when JO has his inevitable injury requiring a lengthy recovery.
