Should the Celtics pursue Demarcus Cousins?

Today's Poll: Should the Celtics Pursue DeMarcus Cousins?

Sacramento Kings coach Paul Westphaul released a statement earlier today that 2nd year player DeMarcus Cousins has requested to be traded.

Via NBA.com:

“DeMarcus Cousins has demanded to be traded. In the best interest of our team as we go forward, he has been directed by me, with the support of management, to stay home from the New Orleans game tonight.”

While Cousins' agent disputed the trade request rumors, either way, it seems like the Kings want to be rid of DeMarcus. Yes, DeMarcus is a giant headcase and it seems as though this year the Celtics have been clearing the team of any knucleheads. But on the other hand, is he a young player with a ton of potential who averages 14.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

With our shortage of bigs, would you want a player like Cousins on the team? Or is it too risky to allow someone with his history of instabilities to potentially be cancerous to the team? Vote in the poll below.
