One NBA GM with potential interest in signing Wallace said, "I’d be worried about his conditioning in a condensed season."

Sheesh if we really are that desperate for rebounding...
…and we want a headcase to booth, just ask Rodman to come out of retirement instead. Teams already hate us with KG on this team, imagine the level of hate if we add Rodman to the mix.
I'll say this.
He’d certainly be a more useful 15th roster spot than Sasha Pavlovic.

agree with Sizzlack
I’d welcome another year of Sheed off the bench jacking up 3’s at this point. Between him and Pietrus, we’d have a few better scoring options off the bench…just gotta force everyone else to track down the ball for those second chance points GOD DAMN IT.
Sheeeeddd...
as a big Rasheed fan this is interesting news.
If he can get in shape , considering Sheed is only 37 he would be good big man acquisition and insurance on a contending team.
As for signing with the C’s, if its for a min contract and if he were not to take minutes away from Steimsma, who I want to see get minutes this year to jump start his grooming as the C’s possible center of the future, he would be good big to sign for insurance and since you can never have enough bigs on your roster.
It may also make sense to sign Sheed if JO has a inconsistent season this year as he appears to be having so far, or if the C’s want to trade him and his expiring contract for another player or draft pick.
Its funny I just posted last night on another post how I thought when Sheed got in the paint on offense he was probably the best low post scoring big the C’s have had in the big 3 era.
Considering the C’s in the paint offense from there bigs is non existent, signing Sheed may be a smart move especially come playoff time when the game becomes more of a 1/2 court game.
Return of Zombie Ball!
Yes Sheed would probably be better than our current 15th man…but sadly we already have a Zombie defense epidemic going on and don’t need to add to it.
Old age is tough I cant imagine being a once upon a time elite player and watching lesser players streak past you as you collect yet another foul for not moving your feet…
I’ll pass on that zombie…and pray our current Zombie’s shake it off for one more run
shortened season
Sheed wants to play 30 games, then hit the playoffs.
I don’t think we have anything to lose.
Sign him.
Probably true.
I’m not sure he could help, but there’s really nothing to lose.

What's the latest on Pryzbilla?
I was a big Sheed fan from Portland on, but I can’t help but think we’d be signing a name more than an asset. 37 is old, especially for a guy who has a history of conditioning problems.

Hmmm..
If we’re into old players so much, we should concider signing Rasheed, but before that we should try signing Bill Russell.
I don't follow rules, I let the rules follow me.
Nenad Krystic
Any definite word as to whether he could escape from overseas contract? -he can score and provide some rebounding
No, he can't.
Or better yet, he won’t, he doesn’t want too.
Krstic did not sign a “lock out” contract, he went to Europe because he wanted to return home, and signed for multiple years.

no way
sheed was washed up2 years ago. we don’t need his 25% 3pt shooting and his 3 rebounds per game. and his help defense is beyond bad. and he doesn’t play hard.
and as bill walton would say, he’s a “walking violation.”
so no thanks, i’d much rather see the young guys get more minutes.
