The Celtics Big 3 Dilemma
To me the celtics team cannot succeed no matter what adjustment we make. The Celtics organization are loyal to there veterans and still cheer for them no matter what. But to be honest I don't think that are vets are able to compete in a starting role anymore. I think they have hit the wall. Yes, Ray Allen is having a great year so far, and Pierce has just came out of injury but how long is it gonna take for Celtics as a team to play like champions.
We can't trade KG, Ray, or Paul Pierce because again we are loyal to our players especially those have contributed to the history of the Celtics. So what can we do. We don't have any other great key trade pieces. I say we don't make any trades that would damage the future and stick this year out and who knows the Celts might perform a Tim Tebow and show up when it counts. We got a lot of opportunities next year.
Thoughts?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

i dont think its really a dilemma
its just the cap space coming back from the expiring deals is more valuable than anyone we will get back in return
The problem is they really aren't BIG anymore...
We are simply going through the motions of a transition phase. Think Celtics Circa 1992 when Bird and Kevin Mchale and Parish are on their last hurrah. For me, KG should not be playiing anymore than 25 min a game. He just ain’t cutting it anymore by playing him more than 30. I thought he would have a Kareem like career, heck I was wrong, Kareem at his age was still lighting it up heck . The KG we are witnessing now is like Hakeem circa 2001. Old and Worn out.
PP is in a funk. I think he will recover the but PP ain’t gonna solve any issues we have currently.
Ray is having an OK season.. but Big he ain’t no more as well.
Changes
Assuming No Trades-
KG and O’Neal cannot be on the Floor together; too slow; start Wilcox.
Bradley, Johnson and Moore should all be in the rotation.
Daniels, Pavlovic and Dooling should not be in the rotation.
I almost agree
Yes. Start Wilcox. And O’Neal and KG should never be on the floor together. Doc can’t get this.
I think all the rest you listed should be in the rotation, except Daniels. It should be a very long rotation.

Here's something that should make you mad.
If the playoffs were to start today, Celtics wouldn’t make it. We currently sit in ninth place in the East. Whose in eighth? The Cleveland Cavaliers. Are we really worse than the freakin’ Cavs? Yes, it’s early in the season, but we’re nearing the quarter mark fast. When are things gonna change?
They're NOT
WERE FOOLING OURSELVES, need big changes and NOW …….
