Feeling Celtic Fans Temperatures on Rajon Rondo trade
I was wondering aloud to myself about what Celtic fans thought of Rajon Rondo and how untradeable he is in your minds. I will keep it simple. What does this trade do for you as a Boston fan? Al Jefferson, Devin Harris and Golden State's top 7 protected 2012 1st round pick for Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett? Leave me some comments and be sure to let me vote. Then I'll get Kevin O'Connor on the phone with Danny Ainge.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I like Devin Harris and Rondo combo but Ray Allen is doing well. What we need is a tough center averaging 10+ rebounds per game and a fast athletic SF to help Rondo on transition like LeBron James.
close
kanter or favors plus harris plus the pick for rondo and garnett would be more likely. and you can have your pick of avery bradley (defensive guard) wilcox or sasha haha

Kanter + Harris for rondo + bass + Bradley would work financially and would be good for both teams. utah gets a true power forward who can shoot and an all star point guard. celtics dont downgrade too much a pg and get a young talented center for the future.

Absolutely not.
Why on earth would we want to trade Rondo? Rondo is the only one who hustles and gets stuff done out there…
But at the same time, I feel really bad for Rondo. He’s stuck with a sluggish team. If he were playing for a much younger team like the Chicago Bulls, he would have flourished. There would have been no question as to naming him the best point guard in the league. Because if you think about, how many times has he perfectly passed the ball to one of our shooters yet the shooters failed to finish? Truly, Rondo’s stats are not accurate because there is just no one following through with the great set-ups Rondo makes. Now—I know Rondo makes mistakes—but then again, who doesn’t?
For the sake of Celtics, however, we cannot trade him. If he goes, everything will crumple.

crumble
more than they are now? i agree that his stats arent accurate and he is the only person hustling right now but that doesnt make him untradable. I would argue he is the play we should trade most because by the time we can build a good team around him he will be on the decline. he is highly rated around the league and devin harris is under rated. we lose a bit at point guard but the jazz have extremely talented young big men and if we can get one that would be awesome. We arent going to be able to get an enes kanter drafting 20th

Agree...
Rondo stays. Swap out Steamer for KG and Wilcox for Oneal. Let them come off the bench and deal with that adversity. Give Steamer and Wilcox a chance to play with Rondo, Truth, and Allen. It is time to stop stroking egos. You may find KG n JO more effective off the bench. Until there is a solid useful trade without Rondo involved, don’t trade anyone. Also would like to see Moore play more then 55 seconds. The C’s could have used him and Steamer for the energy and as Tommy said it, “Their Hunger”.
The 2nd unit would look like this: JO, KG, Bass, Dooling(Bradley), Pietrus. These guys should be able to sustain a lead while the starters rest. Just a thought.
The boilers
Should get playing time tonight it the second half of a back to back and the crowd here is 30 percent purdue fans at least

Rondo
Should have moved him from Rubio and their pick when we had the chance
If we move him we have to get
Steph Curry or Monta Ellis & Klay Thompson
Rubio & Williams
Granger & Collison
Westbroook & Ibaka
All right. Everyone settle down. I was just testing the water. I thought Boston fans were more for blowing it up.
I’m actually proud of you Boston fans that recognize Rondo is very good and should be defended by fans.
The more you try to erase me, the more that I appear.
