what we should actually do

call me pessimistic, but i consider this season hopeless. there is just no way we are going to win the chip this year and to be honest, if we aren't even in the discussion for a championship then we should reload. but the way i see it it shouldn't be so painful as everyone is making it seem

say we trade ray, kg, and anyone else who is on a one year contract, with the expectation that the other team will accept them as cap space. we get picks, decent players with bigger contracts then they are worth you name it (mostly picks).

then we suck this year but we have player around the caliber of bass and pietrus that can hopefully move better

but we have picks picks and more picks in the draft, AND the return of ray and kg on lower pay.

sooo... we basically sacrifice our cap ( lets be honest were not getting dwight and i like rondo much more than Dwill)

but in return we basically get picks and a solid bench that we would have signed anyhow

you like? if so please comment with ideas and teams that would do this!!

Going no where

I don’t believe any team would trade with us. All we have is nothing but oldtimers let’s be honest. Better off letting the rookies play in the games and get better on their own. Coaching is terrible.

You can only trade guys like Ray and KG to already championship caliber teams that want something extra to put them over the edge. So we would only get good teams draft picks which are low or they will give us a prospect or an ok young guy. Say for example trade Ray to Miami for Norris Cole + their first round pick (which will probably be 29th or 30th). Or KG to Chicago for Taj Gibson + Pick (28th – 30th). Not worth it if you really want to reload. We would be better off letting this season ride out and sign good free agents in the offseason or make trades with the picks + players we will have then.

Oooh

And our own pick which is top 10 at the moment. Hmm, maybe thats Ainges plan, tell the players to tank then trade out top 10 projected pick + Rondo for say Dwight Howard. Then tell everyone to lift their game – win the last 20 regular season games and the championship. Very good thinking Danny!

Miami doesn’t have a first round pick available to trade until 2017 at the earliest.

i think we should just let this season play out. no team would want to get the old guys with their big pay checks. I still dont get it why doc wont give the rookies time to play and let the old guys rest.

He deserves to retire in Green. And Doc should stop playing the Big 3 the whole game, but let the rookies play. JaJuan will go to waste. Everybody said that E’Twaun was bad, but look at him now. He was given a chance, and he proved to everybody that he’s worthy. And put Marquis more. Doc is killing his confidence right now. And Sasha too.

Doc, why do you need 15 players when PP, RA, RR and KG play 30 minutes a game each? 30! He is going to killed Steamer’s confidence too. Move Wilcox to the reserve and double Greg’s minutes. JO is ancient, for God’s sake.
