3 Team Trade-Bos/Orlando/LAL
Celtics Trade: Paul Pierce
Lakers Trade: Gasol, Bynum and their 2 2012 first round picks
Orlando Trade: Turkolou, Ryan Anderson, 2012 first round pick.
Celtics Receive: Turkolou, Anderson, 3 2012 First Round Picks
Lakers Receive: Dwight Howard and Paul Pierce
Orlando Receive: Gasol & Bynum
It hurts, but celtics get a huge kickstart to their rebuilding..afterwards they would attempt to move allen to another contender to pick up an additonal asset, but would be going into the 2012 offseason with Rondo, 5 first round picks (including their own which would be in the lottery), bird rights to j. green, ryan anderson and bass (he will prob opt out), along with their currently underwhelming crop of youngsters in bradley, moore and johnson..anderson is a nice fit for a rondo led team due to his ability to stretch the floor and open up the driving lane.. in the offseason of 2013, the celtics would look to trade the then expiring turk contract along with other assets for a star... people should not be so quick to renounce this type of rebuilding since 1) you have to spend almost to the cap no matter what and 2) there aren't any good free agents this summer minus howard and wiliams who we aren't getting.. the contracts of wally and ratliff allowed us to be able to get allen and garnett in the first place..
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

In some sick, unexplainable way this works for all three teams...wow
Great for the Celtics future. Clears a bit of cap space, gives a great young piece in Ryan Anderson, and three first-rounders.
it's true
btw, what’s the best disinfectant to use after cutting yourself?

ryan anderson
his contact expires this season which is fine if he commits to resigning with us or signs an extension just a little hang up.i assume he will make 8-10 million a year after this season so we dont clear any cap and we actually lose some

I didn't even reading your actual reasoning. I stopped when I saw the details of your trade.
so Lakers get a HOF and the best center since Shaq. Orlando gets a young center to replace howard and a top 10 player in Gasol. And we get a European waif, an overrated shooter happy PF, and three bottom of the barrel picks while having to give up the face of the franchise to our most hated rival, who come out like bandits and have the ability to win three straight championships.
and then we’re stuck with half Turk, Anderson, Bass, Dooling, and Pietrus – five players who were consistently bumped from the playoffs on a team WITH Howard.
Great idea.
I've been watching Ryan Anderson a bit. He's legit.
He’s like a mini-Kevin Love and his contract is favorable. He’s only 23 and I’ve really seen him improve.
Also, we actually GET more cap relief.
wrong
his contract is up after this season we would have to sign him to a bigger deal

adjustment where we dont take turk... we could also ditch any contract under 8 million with LALs trade exception

I loved the idea though don’t get the wrong impression this would be a great trade for us

Trade with Lakers
Isn’t this blasphemous?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6ommq97
anyway so we also would try to get their two first round picks
pluses for LAL
get rid of two bad contracts, get huge upgrade at PG and SF, defensive backup to kobe and bass would be a good player to play alongside pau after bynum leaves
pluses for Boston
we get a franchise center, two more first round draft picks clear a tonnnnn of cap room (we would only have 26.5 million under contract next season)
LAL starting 5
rondo
kobe
pierce
bass
gasol
Bostons starting 5
fisher/dooling
allen/moore
artest/pietrus
garnett
bynum/oneal
this is definately a trade focused on the future but with 4 first round picks we would be able to get any two players we wanted. if we drafted kidd-gilchrist (with our pick) myck kabongo (clippers pick) mason plumlee (mavs pick) and fab melo (lakers) pick
we would still have enough room to sign eric gordon to a max contract and compete for another top free agent and immediately be a contending team again

Duh. The point is to rebuild
Yeah we give up a ton and artest and fisher dont matter that’s just making our draft pick better. The point is we will have a franchise center and 4 picks in the deepest draft in a whole and we will build around Bynum. we would have 30 million in cap room 5 2012 draft picks jajuan and etwaun and a franchise center it’s the definition of blowing it up but I think we would get back to being a contender very fast. Look what okc did with the draft durant pick 2 Westbrook pick 4 harden pick 3 ibaka 24th pick they built through good drafts and now they are set for a few years
